According to a 2017 job survey, in America only 24% of employees are very satisfied with their jobs. (Jared Lindzon). This means in America over half of the employees are less satisfied or unsatisfied with their jobs. However, in order to survive, these people must continue to work where the jobs are available. One author who addresses this problem, is Karen Olsson in her article “Up Against Wal-Mart”.

A problem that we have had in the country for a very long time is; people coming into this country illegally. It is causing over population, loss in jobs, stolen taxpayer resources, and an increase in crimes, even terrorism. The best way to handle this problem is for every employer to check every single employees birth certificate, citizenship, or green card to make sure that they can be in America legally. Whoever should not be here, needs to be deported back to their own country. Then this would fix all the problems illegal immigrants cause.
The three most important laws that regulate discrimination regarding employment are Title VII which is the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Age Discrimination & Employment Act, and The American with Disability Act. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects people from being discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, sex, and national origin (Aiken, Salmon, & Hanges, 2013). The Age Discrimination & Employment Act protects individuals from being discriminated against people who are over the age of 40 and older. The goal is to promote the employment of older workers based on their abilities not their age (Harlan, 1985). The Americans with Disability Act protects people who have physical or mental disabilities (Meyerowitz, 2017).

Different generational cohorts bring a variety of value sets and traits that have to be accounted for when dealing with employees from different generations. Studies show that different generations hold different expectations and value different aspects of their job (Eisner, 2005; Lancaster & Stillman, 2002; Macky, Gardner, Forsyth, Dries, et al., 2008; Smola & Sutton, 2002). Based on the work of Kupperschmidt (2000), Strauss and Howe (1991) and Mannheim (1952), we define a generation as a group of people or cohort that share birth years, significant experiences of life events and therefore mutual value sets. In this study, belonging to a generation covers the physical existence in a certain period, the experience of the same events as well
Toxic leadership has been around for decades in all nations throughout history and it seems that many leaders displayed that type of toxic behaviors that lead organizations or Armies to achieved greatness or destruction. However, despite the fact they accomplished their goals does not mean they are great leader, or that the people who work with them are willing to follow them because they trust them. In definition, a “Toxic Leader is a combination of self-centered attitudes, motivations, and behaviors that have adverse effects on subordinates, organization, and mission performances” (according to ADP 6-22). Toxic leadership is an illness if we look it that way, that if is not treated carefully It could spread among those that are directly
Intergenerational issues in the workplace can cause tension between the employees and employer. Millennials feel that it is harder to grow and develop their careers in organizations because of this problem due to an absence of guidance from other generations in higher positions. Where Millennials feel lack of guidance, Baby Boomers and Generation X feel that Millennials entering the workforce are directly after their positions, therefore causing a strain on workplace relationships between employees. If intergenerational problems in the workplace continue to remain unsolved, it can and will cause disruption within the organization. Productivity can decline due to low cooperation between multigenerational employees resulting in lower efficiency and completion objectives leading to disruption within the organization.
Younger employees can assist older employees by sharing new ideas whereas older employees can share positive qualities including experience, judgment, strong work ethic and commitment to quality. By this way it is possible to reduce age discrimination in the workplace. But the main role will be played by organization by maintaining the good relationship between
