John Adams, of who was born on October 30, 1735, in Massachusetts was the oldest of three siblings. When Adams was just 16 he received a scholarship to Harvard University, he grew up to go on to Harvard law school, he graduated in 1755 at 20 years old and start teaching in a school for several years. He later in 1758 became a lawyer and later in his career as a lawyer became the most prominent attorneys in Boston. Adam chased after renown, not material wealth.
