Role models, leaders, and influential people all have one thing in common, they all have the ability to make a difference in the world and in people's lives. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was a person who could make a difference for the better of the world. America loved Kennedy because he was such a great leader and united America together. He was inaugurated on January 20, 1917, being the 35th president of the United States. He accomplished some incredible issues that needed to be dealt with. His presidency was about improving and making new discoveries in science, technology, education, employment. He also advocated for democracy and freedom for the whole world. During the time of his election so many wars and crisis were happening, there was the cold war, Cuban missele Crisis, segregation in America, Soviets trying to send a people to space. One of the first bills he proposed was a new Civil Rights Bill on June 11, 1963 that would help end racism. Kennedy made it clear that all Americans regardless of skin color, should enjoy a good and happy life (Life of John F. Kennedy). Kennedy created the Peace Corps, which still exists today. In the Peace Corps, Americans can volunteer to work anywhere in the world where assistance is needed. Another major issue Kennedy addressed was trying to beat the soviets to space. He asked congress to approve more than 22 billion dollars for project Apollo, which would land astronauts on the moon. Making him the first president to send people to space and to ask for 22 billion dollars. He was also known for taking part in the Cuban Missil crisis. His presidency came to a quick close when he was assinated in Dallas, Texas while giving speeches. It happened on November 21st 1963, Kennedy was in a car with his wife, driving around Dallas and a man named Lee Harvey Oswald shot him from a building window. John F. Kennedy, also known as JFK, is perhaps the most-loved president in American history. Our 35th President of the United States served from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. Although he was young and did not get to serve his full term he accomplished many great things. All these documents embody the beginning of an admirable presidency and the commencement of a new hope for a nation gone forlorn. Kennedy served at the pinnacle of the Cold War and spent a large fragment of his presidency focusing on managing relations with the Soviet Union.

Kennedy was assassinated on November 22nd, 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald, although there are many conspiracy theories not many believe it was Oswald. While in office he tried to bring the United States out of isolation and create relationships and alliances with other countries. He believed that America should “speak softly and carry a big stick.” With the alliances he wanted with other countries he also wanted defense, so he built up the United States’ navy making it one of the best in the world. While in office he also helped panama secede from Colombia and he helped build the Panama Canal. He won the Nobel Peace Prize for helping end the Russo-Japanese war.
He followed alot of jeffersons style and took alot of action. He shrunk the governmetnt and used his presidency to the fullest extent, includnig his effective power to veto. He effectivly prevented south carolina from seceding and nullifying the tariffs. Evetually, he cruelly got rid of the native americans from their homeland, and exiled them from society. Finally, with good intetions for reelction he vetoed charter fro the second bank which led to a crisis.
