BACKROUND/CHILDHOOD
John Lennon had a rough childhood with being the only child in the family and his parents got divorced when he was very young. He lived the most of his childhood with his aunt. His mother thought him how to play guitar and piano and she thought him this when she visited them. John did not see that much of his father as a child. John Wayne Gacy was, in my opinion, by far the most twisted and sinister serial killer in American History. He was a prominent businessman in Cook County, Illinois, in a suburb of Chicago. His victims were all his lovers, and he killed to cover his homosexuality and to satisfy his sadistic need on top of his need for control. Gacy had an abusive and alcoholic father, who abused his mother as well as his older and younger siblings, 3 kids in total. John was a portly child who was not athletic and did not blend well into the social scene in his school life.

John Lennon use to be a member of the very popular and impactful band, the Beatles. Most considered Lennon the intellectual and outspoken Beatle and this resulted in hate from some people (History.com 1). Days before the shooting, Chapman told his wife he had been obsessed with killing Lennon. He showed her the gun and bullets, but she did not tell the police what Chapman planned on doing.
Janis Joplin was one of the first woman rock singer who used blues to inspire her music and put her on the same playing field as men in the 60s. The Beatles had many influences of music, including Bob Dylan's music, but they also created their own unique music that was different from song to song. In "A Day in the Life", The Beatles created a crazy dissonant sound that really hasn't been heard up until the 60s, that's actually quite creepy. Then they bring back calm in the song by playing the consonant chord to make you feel like you didn't jump off the cliff, so to speak. These were new innovations in rock that made a difference in American rock in the
The presidency of John F Kennedy was one of controversy both in the past and in the present. There has long been a debate on whether or not he was a good or bad president. He did many things to help the U.S., On the other hand, there are many questionable things that he did that may have hurt the United States.
