The Call of the Wild is my favorite and in my opinion the best book we have read this year. I really like this book because the characters in it and the author describes it with descriptive details. In the book, Buck, the dog and main character, was stolen from his original owner. I liked whenever John Thorton bet on Buck that he could pull 1000 pounds.

Some reasons I enjoyed this book so much is because at first it’s calm and nothing is happening, but then it gets to the point where you feel like you’re in the book too. The book The Call of the Wild is a novella and has many settings, or themes to it. The theme of this book was to grab the readers attention and pull them into the story. It was also about a dog being stolen from its owner
