This chapter will discuss the company‘s vision and mission by analyzing both statements. Furthermore, the vision and mission statement will be revised after the researchers have applied the necessary revisions in line with the prescribed criteria of Fred David‘s nine components for writing a vision and mission statement.
A vision statement defines the optimal desired future state of a company and what it wants to achieve over time. It serves as a guidance and inspiration as to what a company aims to achieve. A mission statement is a statement of the purpose of a company, organization or person, its reason for existing.
