Jonathan Wayne Nobles was not truly rehabilitated. He could have acted like he was becoming a better person, so that he was treated better or get an opportunity to be released. He manipulated people to help him and believe him. Nobles didn’t explain what happened between Gene Hathorn and him to Steve Earle. He was a different person than he was when he committed the crime, though that doesn’t prove that he won’t do anything like that again if he was released from prison.
Nobles could have faked becoming a better person to get an opportunity to be released early. There have been many people that have been sent to prison or sentenced to death but were released early for good behavior (Wray). People will change the way they think and do things
Jacob Ind planned two murders at the age 15. The murders were his mother and his stepfather. Jacob killed his step father by shooting him in the head and soon after killing his mother as well. He also began to fill a void in his life while attending mass, and eventually became a lay member of the Dominican Order of Preachers. Jon ministered to other inmates and even took part in mass on special occasions.

John Wayne Gacy was prosecuted on multiple accounts of murder, an accounted serial killer and rapist. In the court of law, it does not matter what upbringing a citizen may have faced. No matter what hardship or handicaps an individual faced during their childhood, crime is definite. He was accused of multiple charges with various evidence. Eventually, Gacy had given up and knew his sentence was inevitable.
Mr. James Eagan Holmes is a 30 year old male, currently housed at County Jail. The Aurora Police Department arrested Mr. Holmes on July 20, 2012 for committing the mass murder of 12 individuals and wounding 70 others, who attended a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises” at the Century 16 multiplex in Aurora, Denver. Mr. Holmes is charged with Murder 1st Degree, Attempted Murder 1st Degree, Possession of an Illegal Explosive, and Sentence Enhancement for a Crime of Violence. Following his arrest, Mr. Holmes was found unfit, and transferred to the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital and discharged to County Jail, where he awaits trial. Mr. Holmes’ attorney, Ms. Brady, requested a forensic evaluation to help evaluate Mr. Holmes’ mental state at the time of his alleged offense.
Restorative justice is a theory of the criminal justice system that focuses on the rehabilitation of the offenders, victims, and community. This fairly new theory is a new way of tackling criminal behavior, because unlike the traditional form of justice that we have become accustomed to restorative justice allows the affected persons of a given crime to be fully involved in the process of justice.
