A bonechilling, mystery, murder took place in a peaceful/small town in Boulder, Colorado, taken place on Christmas night shook the nation. Beauty queen, pageant winner, adorable, innocent JonBenet Ramsey was killed in the family home on the night of December 25th, 1996. Jonbenet was found with a device around her neck that straggled her, stun gun marks on her left side of her body, hands tied above her head, and tape over her mouth. Later autopsies found that the girl was bashed over her head leaving an 8 ½ inch fracture. Then found later on that Jonbenet was sexually assaulted. There are many case scenarios that still go around even years later. No one knows who exactly killed JonBenet, but people have been finding amazing details on who …show more content…
So why was it that Burke decided to exclude his little sister? Probably because he was still jealous that even after his sister’s death, she still had the spotlight. There was also a movie documented on the JonBenet Ramsey killing as it was supposed to be portrayed as true. It was shown that the actress acting as Patsy going ballistic when the investigators asked a question about Burke. Was it that she was trying to protect the only child she had left? Statistics show that when a family loses a child 90% of parents divorce. Why is it that John and Patsy still stay together? Is it because of their own deed, or trying to cover up for a family member all this time? Also i read there was a profiler talked about how “a weapon (toy) was found in JonBenet’s room and it was a rope like medieval 7 device that when tightened around say someone’s neck needed very little pressure to kill.” That makes me think that maybe Burke could’ve done it so easily, making the garret and just pulling with all his strength. Thinking about that theory made me realize how it didn’t have to be an adult but simply a 9 or 10 year old boy who was angry at his sister for always being the spotlight of the Ramsey
When the police first arrived onto the scene of the murder, the child had not been found yet. They started to do a deeper look into the house when all of a sudden John comes up from the basement stairs carrying JonBenet’s dead body, despite being told if he did find anything to leave in its original placement. Obviously ignoring these orders, John even ripped off the piece of duct tape from JonBenet’s mouth. When John covered her dead body with a blanket and laid her down, this caused him to destroy some vital evidence that could've been found if he had not removed her from her original stance in the basement. The first police officer to arrive at the crime, Linda Ardndt, spoke out to the public about John’s strange behavior the day of the murder.
With many suspects, they all seemed to check out expect her family even more so her brother. Jonbenét Ramsey was a six-year-old American beauty pageant queen living in Boulder, Colorado with her father John Bennett Ramsey, a businessman, mother Patsy Ramsey who was a former pageant queen and nine-year-old brother Burke Ramsey. A year before the death of Jonbenét, Burke
First is that an intruder broke into their home, wrote the note, and killed JonBenét. Next is the mother Patsy, who might have had a motive of jealousy from the attention her daughter received, and thus killed her and had John help cover it up. Lastly, Burke may have unintentionally murdered his sister by hitting her with a flashlight after she took his food and ran, but John and Patsy staged it to be as if someone else had kidnapped and murdered her. If the crime scene had not been contaminated, if family and friends spoke to the police further, and if Burke would have spoken in depth about his childhood relationship with his sister – the investigation may have had further evidence to go upon. Nonetheless, the Boulder County attorney declared on October 13th, 1999 that there was not enough sufficient evidence to declare anyone as the culprit.
Victim's advocates were even allowed into the house bringing in food. These same advocates started cleaning up and a friend even started wiping down the countertops and sinks removing any possible trace of evidence (Keene-Osborne, Glick, 1997). JonBenet’s body was later found by her father and a friend in the basement. They removed the duct tape from her mouth and brought her upstairs in the white blanket she was found in further destroying any possible evidence from the crime scene. This also allowed for officers not to be able to document how the body was lying, evidence around the body,
John and an unidentified friend went to the basement first and he found his daughter in the utility room (Casarez). That brings up the question of why didn’t John search the house when his daughter was thought missing? How did John manage to find her when the police didn’t? JonBenet was found with a garrote fashioned out of rope embedded deep within her neck. The same rope was around one of her wrists.
Kirk Bloodsworth was a former Marine, he was also the first person sentenced to death and then subsequent exonerated. Kirk was only 22 years old when he was wrongful convicted and severed nine years in prison before they released him. The reasoning for this was because in 1984 a young girl was found dead in a wooded area and she had been sexual assaulted, strangled, and beaten with a rock. The reason for why he was arrest was because he fit the description of the man that witness where identifying.
This means JonBenet was killed by being strangled with having a blow to the head. There was evidence of vaginal trauma as well. The police found a large black flashlight and a garrote in the house which many people believe are the murder weapons. Now knowing the nature of this crime, here is when mistakes happens. Once Pasty called about her missing daughter, police officer Rick French was the first to respond.
Those who believe that O.J. is innocent point out the fact that the murder weapon was never found. They believe that if O.J. had committed the murders, he would have had to take his bloody clothes and murder weapon through airport security and given them to Robert Kardashian knowing that the bodies could have been discovered before he landed and the police could have been waiting for him in Chicago (Dershowitz 135). This would have been too risky, showing that O.J. could not have committed the murders. However, on the night of the murder, O.J. got into Mr. Park’s limousine with a small black bag.
The second source summarizes how Sandra Bland's family filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the Waller County Sheriff's Office The family and activists have raised questions over the traffic stop and whether Bland committed suicide. Cooper, 31, a businesswoman, said the family is concerned that authorities have been releasing information selectively, including dashboard camera videos from the police car of another officer who responded after Encinia stopped Bland. The intended audience of this article is the press and the police departments who lack watching over the people who are incarcerated. The family is concerned with the way the authorities have been handling the situation. The authorities are the ones who caused the problem and now
Guess what Bridget was not questioned. Lastly, little was known about the murderers, but they just assumed that she did. There was no evidence that she did it she was just blamed. People might say that she had a motive and that is enough to prove it.
Queenie Valupides is a young lady that is a suspect in the killing of her husband. Queenie Valupides is guilty for murdering her husband because of the fact that she was home alone for ten minutes, they have had a fight just a few hours ago, and there is a pan cooking on the stove and nobody has been at the house for a few hours. There is no evidence to a person being in the house while she was away. Although mr. Volupides dead body gave evidence that he had been drunk. The police can look at the fact that she had been at the house before her friends.

When I looked at the handwriting of the ransom note and the handwriting of Patsy, there are some similarities, within the letters. Any individual can make their handwriting look sloppy, but there will always be similarities. I believe Patsy could have been irritated by something that JonBent could have possibly done, which caused Patsy to hit JonBent with a forceful object that could have caused serious brain damage. Instead of taking JonBent to the hospital she decide to stage a crime sense of a kidnap and murder instead. If Patsy did murder her daughter she got away with the
What happened? The current detective, Mr. Towers, said they were trying to locate a person of interest, but could not find him, Twyla found him, in jail. She has tried to call the police department to report this finding, no one will talk to her. How is it that a civilian can find this individual, but the detective on the case can not? The current detective said he wants to go question people, but his biggest fear is that they won 't want to talk to him.
JonBenet’s body was found in the basement of her home with many clues hiding the truth. For example, when JonBenet was found, her body “was covered in her white blanket” (Penman 2017). This could have been very significant given the blanket belonged to JonBenet. This is important because it can show compassion
