The theory I'm trying to prove here is to figure out who did the JonBenet Ramsey crime. There many there are many suspects but I'm going to choose one to talk on and his name is Gary Olivia because there are others that have a lot of information that showed they're the one who committed the crime but there's not enough to prove that they are the one who committed the crime. In the BuzzFeed unsolved mystery video I watched on JonBenet Ramsey there were many suspects but the suspect I have chosen to talk about is Gary Olivia. To me he sounds like the most person to do the crime, Gary was a sex offender and he was near the Ramsey home at the time of JonBenet's death. Olivia said that he didn't hurt her and he said he didn't kill her but when he was on the phone with his friend he said he had done something horrible to a little girl. This leads me to believe he might have committed the crime because it' somewhat proves that he had done the crime. He had lived close to the Binet house to the Ramsey house, so it kind of proves that he committed the crime but there's not enough evidence to say he did it, so he just remains a suspect …show more content…
The weapon was a stun gun and investigators of the crime of JonBenet Ramsey believe that he might have used it on her, maybe that's how she
In the controversial court case, the murder of JonBenet Ramsey, many believe the family happens to be the killers; however, the court show take their focus away from the Ramsey family. The neighbors said the Ramsey’s spoiled their children and raised them the best they could, but others say different. The majority of the people that know about this case have their minds set on the parents being the murderers, but there is other evidence that could steer law enforcement away from the family. Evidence was found that night that could show the family did it, but other evidence possibly shows someone else. Since the murder of JonBenet Ramsey, the finding of a ransom note demanding $118,000, random DNA tests, and confession by an individual have
JonBenét might have heard her older brother in the kitchen causing her to follow him; when she sees Burke eating pineapple she gets one making him angry for grabbing something that was meant for him, I mean wouldn’t you get mad at your younger sibling touching something that’s yours? Burke gets angry and hits JonBenét on the head which caused the skull fracture found in the autopsy, he does have a history of hitting his sister with objects. In the autopsy report the doctor reported the object that caused the fracture on her skull was a flashlight, one was found in the basement but the Ramsey’s “don’t recall having a flashlight”. When the 911 recording was release the last few seconds are inaudible. In 2016 CBS created a 3-hour documentary called The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey where they release and enhance version of the last six second of the 911 call where three voices
The police investigating the crime said that the way the body was placed seemed like a cover-up for the crime, but could have also been moved by the father who found and picked her up, and that the ransom note was staged by Patsy Ramsey. In 2002 the DA reinvestigated the case, this time they looked at people that were not related to JonBenet as suspects. In 2008 the DA sent out an apology letter to the ramseys declaring that the family was completely cleared from the crime, and in February 2009 the Boulder Police reopened the investigation. There are two main theories about who killed JonBenet Ramsey one of the two is the Intruder Theory, Smits Theory was a theory that someone had broken into the ramseys
Firstly, Josh Powell likely committed this crime because during the interviews conducted with him and his young son, Charlie. Some things were said that would put a spotlight on Josh. When Charlie was asked who he went camping with that night he answered, “My dad, my little brother, and my mom.” The fact that he mentioned Susan going camping with them and Josh said she didn't because she stayed home should raise
While there is no physical evidence, in Susan’s case, that ties Josh to her disappearance, there is substantial implied evidence that makes him an incredibly likely suspect. Implied evidence means evidence that is found based on Josh’s behavior both before and after Susan’s disappearance. One piece of this evidence that was found was Susan’s cell phone in Josh’s van the day after she went missing. This confused the police because why would she leave her phone if she planned on going out by herself? Police quickly pointed Josh out as the prime suspect, considering his, and his two childrens’, testimony placed all four of them camping the night of Susan’s disappearance.
The suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous. The conclusion was that the suspects were to have headed east due to dropped jewelry in that direction. Deputies observed that the back door of the residence is kicked in, supporting that this is the suspects’ entrance. The wife and husband reported that they were tied up with a phone cord,
With this being said and studying the topic in greater depth detail, it seems that there may have been a more likely suspect other than O.J. Simpson. This would have been O.J.’s son, Jason Simpson, who ironically had anger issues and a career as “a Miami chef, who could be accused as the overlooked suspect” (dailymail.com). Research has shown that Jason was accused by Nicole of stalking her and causing her discomfort and a fear of her life. She reported to O.J. and police that Jason was stalking her on numerous occasions, so no one really knows who the murderer was. I feel that if the investigators would have looked deeper into this assumption that they would have found more concrete evidence possibly linking another suspect to the crime.
JonBenet Ramsey December 26th, 1996 in Boulder Colorado six years old beauty queen, JonBenet was murdered in her own home. The Ramsey family had went out for dinner at a friends house the night of Christmas. Once they arrived home, JonBenet was sent straight to bed. That was the last time Patsy and Jhon saw her alive. The next morning Patsy found a ransom note.
People don’t like to be proven wrong. When they are proven wrong they do drastic things to try and prove they aren’t. For example, in the cases of the West Memphis Three and the Central Park Five, people were proved wrong, but still did wrongful things, because of their ego. With modernized technology constantly coming out, it is important to use the new technology to have a more fair and accurate justice system.
Ramsey’s trial still remains unsolved; John Mark Karr was thought to be the killer but evidence showed that he was not. Also, there is an intruder theory with the Ramsey case; but the mystery still unfolds in this lifetime of mystery. JonBenet Ramsey was
Carlton Gary’s criminal activities begin as far back as 1969 when he was first arrested and charged with the firebombing of a grocery store in Gainesville. After a short stint in prison Gary was later arrested and charged with burglary, grand theft auto, assault of an officer, drug possession, possession with intent to sell, armed robbery. In May of 1970, Marion Brewer an elderly Caucasian female was attacked and robbed in her hotel room in Albany, New York. Eighty-five year old Nellie Farmer was robbed and strangled to death in her nearby apartment two months following the Brewer case, after a third elderly Caucasian woman was assaulted Carlton Gary arrested as it was discovered that a fingerprint left at the crime scene of Nellie Farmer was
Karr explained that he “drugged JonBenet and sexually assaulted her before accidentally killing her” (“JonBenet Ramsey Murder Fast Facts”). JonBenet was sexually assaulted by an unknown male, but, based on the evidence from the autopsy, she wasn’t drugged at all before she was murdered. John Karr was accused of child pornography in the past and wrote a love letter to her before an anniversary of her death (“New Reports Could Link Karr to JonBenet”). Equally important, Karr confessed that he was not an innocent man (Montagne). These three suspects could just have coincidental relations to JonBenet’s murder or they could have some involvement in her
Who really is the murder of Hae Min Lee? Two high school teenagers who go to Woodland High School are suspects of Hae Min Lee’s murder. Hae was murdered by manual strangulation, but there was not enough evidence to prove Adnan guilty. Adnan’s friend Jay admitted to helping Adnan bury the body. An investigative reporter named Sarah Koenig made a podcast in 2014 about Lee’s murder.
“Though he'd been told to leave everything where he'd found it, he picked her up, carried the body upstairs, removed a piece tape from the child’s mouth and placed her down. He even covered her up with a throw blanket, further destroying vital physical evidence." (Lovitt) Tampering with the scene did not help Mr. Ramsey’s case at all with him having a high possibility of being a suspect in this murder, it actually made him look even more suspicious than
Based on my research, I have come a conclusion that Burke, John, and Patsy Ramsey played apart in JonBenet’s murder. Burke Ramsey, JonBenet’s brother who was inside the residence after returning home with his parents from Christmas dinner with friends, may have accidentally knocked his sister JonBenet Ramsey unconscious over the head with a flashlight during a feud over a bowl of pineapples. (Augenstein, 2016) Burke was not asleep upon returning home as John and Patsy reported to the Boulder’s Detectives. Boulder’s Detectives noticed in the kitchen during their investigation a flashlight on the counter top possibly a weapon used to strike JonBenet in the head.
