Housman and in "Excerpt from OTL: Michael Jordan Has Not Left the Building" by Wright Thompson, it is suggested that a long life of accomplishments will result as a long-term memory to the public based on how the supporters of the athletes are described. Michael Jordan realizes how crazy it is to know that everyone who looks up to him will eventually forget about him when
When Louie was young, he stole numerous things from people. He gave all those items back, he also started an activities program for kids and teens who want to learn how to do more things in their lives, Louie also started touring around the world doing peace talks; telling his story about the camps and being lost at sea. Louie 's voice preached across the world, his voice rang saying "Let there be peace to all mankind"(Zamperini 2). He set an example for the people who want to make a difference in this world. His main goal was to allow people across any part of the world to live a free and harmonious life.
Well Mike Coffman retired from the military in 1994 after having served for seven years between the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserve and thirteen years between the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. This why Mike Coffman gave up most of his life to the U.S. Army, the U.S. Army Reserve, the U.S. Marine Corps, and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve was to serve his country, and that shows political courage of how many times he left duty to finish school, and how he left his family to serve his family, and country by helping keep the lives of many others safe. Thank you for serving our country Mike Coffman. Mike Coffman is currently in Colorado’s 6th district still serving our country by helping find cures for diseases like lung cancer. So it is clear that although Mike Coffman gave up most of his life for two main reasons.

Latour is contemplative, straightforward, and dignified man who is able to find peace in himself and undergo a self journey along with change. He is able to embrace change by learning how to serve the Native American and the Mexican people of New Mexico. As Latour grows thorough his personal observations and struggles, he shows how strong his faith is by doing more that just build a Cathedral, but by teaching others to grow for their survival. When he arrives to his ‘new home’ Latour is welcomed with more than open arms as his arrival is seen as a prayer by the people around. After learning that there are children to be baptized and marriages to be performed, Latour takes it as a sign that he has made the right choice going to New Mexico.

Marywood University incorporates a mission statement where they base a campus state of well-being off a list of core values including, empowerment, service, excellence, catholic identity and respect. We are working towards a goal in a community at Marywood that presents these core values as a set of words to live by on campus, but in our hearts we have to connect meaning to them. Sometimes, it might be hard as a college freshman to know these words by their definition but rather what they mean to them and how they can actually put them into action. The book “A Good Man” and the speech “This is Water” represent the Marywood core value of Excellence in two completely different ways in which a Good Man represents the physical actions of Excellence
Cesar Chavez has inspirational core values to accept all people, celebrate the community, respect life and the environment, non-violence, innovation, preference to help the most needy, knowledge, sacrifice, service to others, and determination. His first core value to accept all people, I was raised to not judge people based on their race or religion. Being raised this way has made me curious about other peoples backgrounds and cultures. Therefore, during my years in college I would like to spend a semester abroad in order to incorporate myself in another culture and learn as much as possible. Celebrating the community, one of the major ways that I have done this is being involved in Florence All-Around 4-H. We take pride in giving back to the community whether it is to help an elderly couple clean up their yard or volunteering for town events.
We smile when other athletes complain about running laps as punishment while we run twice that in warm-ups. It fascinates me that something so simple remains a constant and vital part of any athletic endeavor. Before there were balls to kick or throw, there were feet alone. Simplicity and freedom are the foundations of runners and their sport. There are no procedures, equipment, or even a team.
