From 1941-1945, during World War II Jews were systematically massacred in Nazi Germany that was led by Adolf Hitler. Historical records estimated that over 6 million Jews were killed from concentration camps in the most degrading and inhuman manner. The gruesome death of Jews left many survivors to experience severe trauma to date. Intergenerational trauma has been evidenced through various studies and through accounts of eye witnesses. The holocaust had and continues to have a deep effect on the children of the survivors.
Under Adolf Hitler's rule, Germany was controlled by the Nazi’s who constricted many aspects of life. Hitler joined the German Workers party and soon became its leader during the year of 1921. Nearly ten years later he became the dictator of Germany along with his Nazi government. In the 1930’s, when the Nazi’s took power many lives dramatically changed for the negative, especially for the Jews. Dachau was the first working Concentration Camp located on the land of an abandoned factory near the town of Dachau that was formed by a dictatorship, treated the jews worse than imagined, and ran like every other concentration camp.

During the Holocaust Jews were put through horrific things you can’t even imagine would happen to another human being. Jews lives were completely changed, they had gone from happy with their family to families torn apart within a few days. The prisoners wondered how long they were going to live. They had never known what day was going to be their last. The Holocaust is a very significant event in history because of how horrible Jews lived their lives back then and where they lived their lives during that period of time.

When he got out of school he attended the University of Munich, where in 1935 graduated with a PhD in physical anthropology.

1.3 million people died at Auschwitz, 1,095,000 of those being Jews. Auschwitz had four gas chambers that used Zyklon B gas to kill people very quickly. Approximately 6000 people were gassed every day at this location. After they gassed the people they would usually burn the bodies in a crematorium (Auschwitz). At the concentration camps, they would also conduct medical experiments on some of the patients.
Victor advanced his liking in philosophy and got close with a professor named Waldman. Due to this friendship, Victor became obsessed with the idea of life and death. He wanted to create a being using raw materials. Victor started to go mad, he couldn’t stop thinking about it, and it was constantly on his mind night and day. The Nazis killed about ⅔ of the Jews living in Europe. 1.1 million children were murdered during the Holocaust. The prisoners of the camps, were forced to hard physical labor, Nazi doctors conducted medical experiments on these people against their will, concentration camps were meant to work and starve prisoners to death. He was the SS Officer as well as a physician in the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Holocaust. He was responsible for the selections of victims to be executed in the gas chambers. He also performed deadly and dangerous experiments on prisoners. He joined the Nazi party in the year of 1937.
