For many years now, the Philippine Government has faced serious criticism and still facing such thing in the present time, from the International community and Human rights groups for the deaths of journalists, crime suspects and others that are “done” by the military and the police. However the government has openly deny such killings, the present administration have also repeatedly reasoned that extrajudicial killings are done by non-government actors specifically vigilantes, rebel groups and many more. Although such things are happening there are also positive benefits that is happening to our country, recently in the news some foreign companies have invested here in the Philippines because based on their statements the Philippines is now safer because someone is really implementing the law and doing their best to eradicate present problems in our country. Our government will continue its course of action because our president who is really driven to eradicate criminality and illegal drugs and based on his statement “I don’t care if I burn in hell as long as the people I serve lives in paradise” he would really do what he promised. The president is trying to make a way to execute criminal legally by bringing back capital punishment, although in the past we have signed and agreed in the UN that we will remove death penalty, high ranking officials of the country at present are helping the president in reviving death penalty which is against to what we have singed and agreed upon in that certain UN convention.
