Leadership is a complex theory that may be basically defined as organizing others towards achieving organizational goals. The quality of leadership is an important element in an organization’s success, since leaders influence employees to work together towards the fulfilment of a company‘s mission and the achievement of its goals. There are many method to become the successful leader in an organisation. As we know that good leaders are motivate workers and create the environment for them to motivate themselves. Based on the situation that Julia Lim has been appointed as a team leader, Madam May May should give some advice to Julia Lim in regards to effective team management.

The leader should openly sensitive to the concerns of followers, give them responsibility, and win their trust. For an example, leader can communicate with a polite tone to their subordinate so that the subordinate will obey your order. Besides that,there are essentially five characteristics of great leaders. The first of these is being flexible. And at times like these, leaders have to be able to change course; that is, first make sure their businesses will survive, and then find a new way to reach their goals. The second characteristic is being able to communicate. Julia should be passion and have a high confidence level, communicate with her members. The third characteristic is persuade her team managers to accept her ideas and make changes by implement frame alignment.The fourth necessary characteristic is the combination of humility and presence. Leaders have to be able to talk and listen to their employees on all levels of the company.And the last one of characteristic of a successful leader is being responsible. A business owner has to realize that, as the saying goes, "A skunk stinks from the head down," and a business does too. This means when there is blame to be accepted, the owner must be the first one to accept it. For example, Democratic leadership also known as participative leadership, is a type of leadership style in which members of the group take a more participative role in the decision-making process. Autocratic leadership also known as authoritarian leadership, is a leadership style characterized by individual control over all decisions and little input from group members. Free-rein leadership is leader set the objectives and the team members are free to do any action that is appropriate to achieve the objectives.
