Through the play Caesar is a liked person and the people of the town wanted him to be crowned king. He is a person who is trusts his friends and that ends up back firing.In William Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Caesar portrays a tragic flaw, a realization, and moral ambiguity, which makes him the most tragic character. A tragic flaw that Caesar has is that he is very easily manipulated. In scene two act two we are shown Caesar in his house talking to calpurnia about him not leaving because had a bad nightmare of him crying. Then enters his "friend" Decius and he tells him to go and that his wife miss interpreted the the dream. This is when he says he's not going to go " Mark Antony shall say I am not well, And for thy humor I will stay at home" (II.ii.55-56). Later that day Caesar says " How foolish do your fears seem now, Calpurnia! I am ashamed I did yield to them. Give me my robe, for I will go."( II.ii.105-107). In the first quote is how he listens to his wife and says ok I will not go but later in the second quote he changes his mind and says yeah ok I will go out let me get ready. On the way to the capital there is the soothsayer and artimidorus that try to stop him but he ignores them when he arrives Decius I think start to ask Caesar to let his brother or cousin come back to Rome and then after that Casca is the first to stab him and Brutus is last.
