Becoming an NHS member recognizes my scholastic achievements but, just as important, it gives me the opportunity to continue expanding my leadership skills, strengthening my character for future challenges; all while simultaneously being of service to my community and my school. I am committed to working hard using my skills and talents to make a positive change in the world. Membership in the National Honor Society gives me the unique opportunity to interact with other like-minded students who will develop into the future leaders of society. When I first became aware
I am deeply honored and humbled to be among the brilliant and best students who are being considered for the NHS. I have been looking forward to this opportunity since I was accepted at Brophy. I know that National Honor Society does great things in our world today. I was a part of National Junior Honor Society at Saint Theresa Catholic School and that that has had a huge impact on the person I am today. I believe that I exemplify the four pillars of National Honors Society, those being character, scholarship, leadership, and service.
National Junior Honors Society As an individual i have a lot of good qualities, like being a leader and helping people when they need it or standing up for what i know is right. I have a lot of good qualities and I think that my good qualities should be spread throughout my school and community. I am fond of being a leader. I do Cheer and Volleyball because I like to lead my team and show them how being confident in what you’re doing can make you strive for greatness.I am a leader on the court and off the court as well. I believe that if you lead your peers and show them the path they need to take, then they will too follow in your footsteps and look up to you as a role model.
I recognize the National Junior Honor Society as a prestige group that contains members who excel at demonstrating Scholarship, Service, Citizenship, Character, and Leadership. They prove to have many advantages, a highly beneficial one being the experience in such an honorable organization. It would be a great honor to be inducted into NJHS, as it would not only benefit myself but the club. I have been told frequently that I surpass average at demonstrating scholarship.
I want to become a member of National Honor Society because it will help me enhance my leadership skills, along with other important character qualities such as academic achievement, serving others, and developing my character traits. Becoming a part of National Honor Society will give me opportunities to help and learn more about others. I enjoy volunteering in my free time since it is a way of me giving back to my community, getting to meet new people, and gain more experience. If selected, I will help give back to my community by committing my time to volunteering and fundraising for non-profit organization.
Leadership, a drive to serve, and a strong character are crucial aspects of those who wish to live successful and prosperous lives, and unsurprisingly, are desirable traits for those in National Honor Society. Leadership is the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide others in forming a favorable outcome. Instances that I have exhibited leadership include being the captain for two years in a row for Black History Quiz Bowl and being both a counselor and teacher at a 4-H summer camp. The ability to serve helps bring out a person’s humility, selflessness, and deeper understanding of how the world interacts. Character is a culmination of traits that make up a well-rounded person, such as being altruistic or possessing comradeship.
I am truly honored to be one of the many outstanding students at Seminole High School who are being considered for admission into our chapter of the National Honor Society. I feel that I fulfill the expectations of the Society because I exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, and character in both our school and our community. However, the pillar that I feel that I represent best is service. After more than 130 hours volunteering, I feel that I can truly grasp what service means to our community, and how that service exemplifies one of the pillars of the National Honor Society. Volunteering at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System truly cemented what my perception of what service is.
My motivation for pursuing a membership in National Honor Society is very simple. I want to help the community with a great group of people who agree that helping the community is a great way to spend time. I would love to be able to expand my resumé of community service skills. Volunteering for something I wouldn’t necessarily do would help add to my set of skills and experiences. Membership to the National Honors Society would mean a lot to me.
I am deeply honored to be one of the many students to be considered for the National Honor Society. This is something I have been looking forward to ever since I left my former school 's National Honor Society. As my dreams of being inducted are slowly getting closer to becoming a reality, I truly really what qualities are to be shown by those who get the opportunity to be considered. Not only would it be an enormous honor to be accepted, it will show that hard work and effort truly pays off. As I began this process I realized that I’m not the only one with the qualities that are sought after, but in my eyes I believe that I may stand out.
Scholarship is one of the factors that National Honor Society prides itself on because this allows them to pick members who are driven, have ambition, and goals they would like to reach. These students volunteer throughout the school and outside of the school. These students participate in extra- curricular activities and maintain an average of 88 or above. NHS students not only want to better

I was graced with a fantastic group of teammates, which furthered my interest in the course. Having the support of my groupmates made it easy to accomplish my academic, personal, and professional goals. My progress was smooth also due to having instructors that I felt comfortable engaging with questions. Overall this class facilitated my growth like clockwork. If I could give one piece of advice to future students, it would be to dive in head first.
We were quickly determined to erect a group for the sexual minority to seek hospitality at Madison Southern High School. After talking to Mr. Quinlan (Madison Southern’s Youth Service Center Director), he seemed thrilled at the idea, and - with approval from the principal
I feel that through this I was able to be very proactive in taking responsibility for my learning in an enjoyable way – this is my greatest achievement for the Middle School. However, in order to prepare for the senior school a more advanced time management system would benefit me
