Observation from KFC:
Kentucky Fried Chicken is a worldwide renowned food chain restaurant. The restaurant is renowned especially for fried chicken. There are many KFC restaurant in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. I conducted the observation at KFC; situated in the second floor of Tesco Lotus Salaya in Nakhon Pathom. Tesco is a huge shopping mall where all kinds of daily needs, cloths, accessories, groceries, electronic items etc. are available. The observation conducted in evening between 5 pm to 7 pm on October 20, 2016.
The square shaped restaurant is well decorated with different formed of chairs. It has three sides, which includes the entrance for cash counter and food order, the space for seating inside the restaurant and an ice cream parlour. The motto and history of the restaurant nicely painted in the wall and different recipe of fried chicken written to attract the customers. In the cash counter the menu and price of the foods well displayed with pictures in big board. Customer can easily order food by indicating the menu in the board. Thus ordering food is not time consuming. It is a self-service restaurant, customers have to wait for the food after order for maximum 2 to 5 minutes. There are different kinds of individual and group meals such as spicy chicken rice bowl, coleslaw, spicy chicken, original chicken, cheese chicken, french fries, nuggets, burger, chicken roll etc. The price of the foods starts from 15 baht to 423 baht.
