Zinedine Zidane and Lilian Thurman were both incredible French football players. They were both born in 1972 and grew up in the outskirts of France.

And so, after a good cry to just let all of her fears, worries, and grievances out, she buckled down and started looking at options for her deaf daughter. First, they tried the oral method at the Central Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis. Once a week, for two years, they drove thirty miles to attend an hour-long class. Two years ago I was on a hunt for indoor soccer shoes that I can still wear even after practices were over, and after a long awaited journey I stumped upon a pair of Nike free runs. These shoes were grey and pink with some net on the sides. The laces were grey and the sole was pink with a splatter of color on the bottom. The best part of them all was that there was a sale on it and plus I had a discount code so I got it for a great price.
American literature has always been a form of entertainment and education. When slaves were introduced as characters in books, they were always negative, stereotypical characters, but not until 1883 when Mark Twain wrote The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was a change made. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a book about a southern white boy in the 1800’s that runs away with an escaped slave on the Mississippi River. For years, schools have been debating on if the book should be banned in schools or not, and it is already on a variety of banned lists. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn should not be banned in schools because it is an anti-slavery novel that teaches students valuable lessons and informs students of the past culture.

Now I play soccer for the Oskaloosa team and I have played for them every year in the spring and fall. We have had a pretty good team through the years and we win more games than we lose. But I enjoy playing for a bigger town because the competition is a lot harder than Sigourney ever was and it makes it more of a challenge. Some people think I’m crazy for driving to Oskaloosa after school for practice but I think it is well worth the drive.
