The Kant essay explains that we do not live in an enlightened age but we live in one that consists of enlightenment, I believe that this is a statement in the making. This is an age where superiors are trying to inform and direct the younger individuals to be the one red marble in a bag of only black ones. By this I mean we are encouraged to go above the average individual to show that everyone has the potential to develop their own opinions and it is okay to speak up or go above the expectations.
