The plot mainly revolves around the problems of farmers in the rural areas and water scarcity. The story revolves around how the protagonist struggled to solve the problems of his locality with his skills and meanwhile what are the problems he faced in dealing with them. According to the movie, on learning of the predicament of Jeevanandam and the villagers, Kathiresan chooses to battle for their motivation while still under the name of Jeevanandam.
