The company that I have chosen to asses is Loblaw Companies Ltd. I have assessed their financial statement as at June 20th, 2015 and June 14th, 2014, and decided to proceed for future investment in this company with my $10 000. The reasons that I have decided to invest in this company is because, first, they are closing down 52 retail locations that are unprofitable. This will allow them to be less in debts and repay their loans faster. Second, their revenue income has increased since the second quarter of 2014 by $228 million; from $10,307 to $10,535.

Please detail the types of prospective clients you believe will allow you to build your business to fulfill your vision. I plan on reaching out to young working professionals who have recently entered the workforce, using my network connections within the hospitality industry to find those who need financial guidance. I also plan to reach out to the rural communities, such as farmers and small businesses, to give opportunities for investment and growth.
In an article published by Sneva, Diane, she talks about the puerto rican women’s movement and how Ferre’s short story, “The Youngest Doll” came to life. Sneva states as following, “The Youngest Doll” shows a woman who exacts revenge on those who try to prevent her from living fully. Through its heroine the story challenges patriarchal hierarchies and suggests that Puerto Rican females must empower themselves” Sneva points out challenges that women face on a personal level. How they are seen upon like, dolls, just social figures, and men are seen as the patriarch of the society that use the dolls for show.
(Kramer and Nelson 1997). Using the idea that Barbie depicts a woman who can be whoever she wants to be gives a sense of ethos present in the advertisement. This will then influence the audience (young girls) that they too can be whoever they want to be. By giving the opportunity for emotional attachment and representation of the little girl holding the doll looking up to Barbie as someone much like themselves, it gives a sense of hope and inspiration for the young girl. With the use of pathos, advertisement of Barbie makes it appear as though she is very approachable because of her looks and the way she seems to “fit the standards of society.”
The case I will be concentrating on is Tomcik vs. Ohio Dep’t of Rehabilitation and Correction in which Tomcik was imprisoned under the custody of Department of Rehabilitation and correction, based on the Legal and Ethical Issues for Health Professionals book. The problem stimulated from continuous negligence from nurses and doctors at the department, which initially was when Tomcik received a physical evaluation, included the breast examination by Dr. Evans who stated that the examination was cursory and lasted only a few seconds, which means that not much attention was presented regarding the patient and his job. The next day Tomcik noticed a lump as being about the size of a pea in her right breast, however it was not reported by Dr. Evans.
Considered very significant to numerous people, happiness and external appearances plays a part in themes of various works. In the short story ''Barbie Q,'' Sandra Cisneros portrays that Barbie dolls can impact girl's lives as they grow up, and influence the way they act and perceive themselves. These girls grow up in a poor family environment considering that they acquired the rest of the dolls in a toys sale after a store burned down. In ‘‘Barbie Q,’’what is the thematic significance of the damaged dolls after the fire? The girl’s enthusiasm to get the new dolls -when they said that they prefer to receive new doll’s clothes- suggests that the meaning of these Barbie dolls is more than just a new toy.

In Katherine Mansfield’s “The Doll’s House” there is a much bigger story then what is being told. There is a lesson that can be learned by reading this story. Being prejudice isn’t always about people who are different colors or of different races, it can also be about people who are rich and people who are poor. People who have more money can be negative towards people who are not as well off, and people who have finer things and more money can have a negative personality, also Kezia appears to be a young girl with a still pure soul.
