I remember the first day of class the teacher asking us to introduce ourselves where we were from, what our hobbies were, our major, etc. I remember expressing in mine that I disliked writing, how I’ve always struggled with it, and my teacher gave me words of encouragement and right there I knew that this was going to be a good writing semester and that I was going to learn a lot. The first week we dived right into it learned about APA formatting, thesis statements, and academic integrity. The biggest one that had me worried was The Personal Narrative Essay because I knew my writing skills were about to be tested. Everything I needed though to write a Personal Narrative was given to me; I followed the guidelines, and I received a one hundred for it.

“13 Rules That Expire” by Karen S. Karp, Sarah B. Bush, and Barbara J. Dougherty, is a thought-provoking read because, for one thing, students do not actually know that these thirteen rules perish until someone notifies us. When I first read this article, it came to me as a bit of a shock. This is an article that all math teachers should read before teaching in a classroom. This article is about the rules that teachers use to teach math to younger students and how those rules will expire before they graduate from junior high school. Many teachers struggle with getting their students to understand math.
Not only are these important for her students to stay on schedule, but if she were to be absent, these lesson plans help the substitute know what the students need to complete that day. Another type of writing she deals with in her daily routine is sending emails. As mentioned before, Mrs. Martinez is the Head Grade Level Chair for Kindergarten which means she organizes and shares different ideas with the rest of the Kindergarten teachers. This is extremely important because they rely on her for her emails on what is going to happen

Meanwhile, the Reform and Opening-up in China welcomes the entry of foreign investment with favorable taxes. China’s flexible policies on industrial management, border and customs control, especially the inexpensive labor and land in the Pearl River Delta strongly pull Hong Kong’s industries northward. From 1981 to 1994, industrial employment in Hong Kong fell from almost one million persons in 1981 to merely 433,672 by 1994. In 1980, the Delta already had a population of 13 million people and serves as the major source of cheap labor to Hong Kong’s labor intensive industries through both legal and illegal
Students eventually lose the process of thinking and using. For reasons above, we have no midterm and final test for this class because we always agree that midterm and final test basically create the feeling of satisfaction. We have no necessary to prepare much knowledge, then we, on the other hand, just remember what the test might be. These ideas are not only destructing student’s learning but also changing perspective for long term. Hence, Godfrey often tries to find other beneficial strategies that are useful for students to

Every day we drilled with grammar practice and even though I hated it at times I knew it would be useful in the long run. She would always say "just because it sounds right does not mean it is right" and I still follow by that motto today. Mrs. Lewis did everything that she possible could've to make sure her students were getting the knowledge that they needed. Every day, Monday through Friday I looked forward going to her class because I knew I would be engage in the agenda that she had planned because her class was never boring.
The role I am playing in the Annotated Bibliography Project is a timeline coordinator, who is responsible for monitor the whole progress of the project to make sure that we would complete every part before due dates. We should be supposed to submit Memo one by Friday class time last week. However, since I did not read the instruction carefully, I failed to remind my group members to finish this assignment on time. Fortunately, Professor Hemstrom extended the deadline for our work delayed due to my carelessness. Although this is an individual work instead of a group work, I am a time line coordinator and I have the responsibility to remind my group members.
This quote is only not relevant to the performing arts. It is applicable to every ability a person could wish to become skillful at. At the beginning of my junior year I struggled in my math class. I could do the problems without issue, but writing intelligently about how I solved the problem was required and did not come easy to me. I went into my teacher’s office hours to get more practice and spent additional time on the homework to ensure I understood the concepts completely.

Before the class started Megan sat down with me and explained the new recent change in the students being mainstreamed, as well as the basics of what it is like to be an interpreter at this specific middle school. The students at this school have never been mainstreamed before, so much so that some of the students actually believed that their interpreter was their teacher. When I asked Megan what law/act caused this change and she informed me that she was not sure, however she knows that it was along the lines of “The inclusion model from the department of education.” When it comes to ethical decisions, this school’s situation is in a very grey area. I was told that all of the students at this school are very dependent
I personally have experienced “teaching to the test” with taking Advanced Placement tests where teachers teach the test and not the information. Headden shows her despite of teaching to the test with her description of what is lost when teachers solely focus on the test and its results (A12). Her list includes: “vocabulary” “character”, and “high-order thinking” (Headden A12). I personally have experienced this with taking Advanced Placement tests where
