Being tasked to formulate our own project and proceed with its completion, along with coming up with our own original ideas to go along with it only impacted me in a positive way. Personally, I feel good about my choice of the topic. If I didn’t pick a topic I enjoyed it wouldn’t have been such a learning experience for me. However, I believe more research and ideas could have been applied for an even greater outcome. After completing this project I found a part of me wanting to go even further and pursue my goal at a grander scale.

It was clear that the interviewer and the narrator had established mutual trust and developed their own unique rapport during the previous four sessions. Espino ensured that the session would be informative by not asking any poor or leading questions.
One of my accomplishments that I am proud of is the Wanted Poster I made of Grendel, from the story Beowulf, for my senior English class. It was real fun to work on because I made him look like myself, but with a six pack. Every time I showed it to some it put a big smile on their face. This was a group assignment, but I couldn’t find a partner so I just worked on it myself.

After volunteering for most of that school year, I wanted to work there. The kids brightened the atmosphere around me, and each time I helped them, I knew I was doing something right. Therefore, I sent in a job application and I have now been employed there since August.

That is because today the sweet old lady I sat across from was not just my grandmother, but my interviewee. Aurea Beringer was born on August 4, 1940 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I know the basics of her life, such as she moved to the United States when she was in her twenties, then back to Brazil, but only to eventually end up back in America again. However, with everyday life, I never bothered to make an analytical observation of her.

That’s where I understood why we all spoke different mother tongues differing from the others. I have always wished to accomplish my Bachelor’s degree in nursing by the end of this year in December 2018. I have been working so much and concentrated all my attention, now since this is the final year of my studies at the university. The feeling of accomplishing my degree comforts me the most since I know that I will be working as a nurse helping people in the areas that I will get a job. Finishing of my nursing degree is an indication of moving to a different professional level in life, and more so, it means that I will acquire my dream job.
