KL Airport Services Sdn. Bhd. (KLAS), a subsidiary of the renowned conglomerate DRB-HICOM was incorporated on the 09th February 1995. Malaysia’s only licensed independent ground handler that provides a comprehensive range of services to various commercial airlines operating into and through Malaysian Airports. In 1995, KLAS entered into a consultancy Agreement with Munich Airport Agiplan Consultancy Services (MAACS), for the PDI and O&M consultancy for the cargo complex, ground handling and aircraft maintainance facility at KL International Airport. In the section 1, there are contain meeting room, board of director’s room for YBhg Dato’ Sri Syed Faisal Albar Bin A.R Albar, YBhg YBhg Datuk Mohamed Razeek Md. Hussain, and YBhg Dato Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh. On the section 2 contain area management team which are operating area, financial department area, human resource and administration department area, IT department area, and data center. The data center is inside the IT department area. The Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) is located inside the data center room. The ground floor contain the support for the genset and heavy equipment. Pos Aviation data center site risk The data center is has low risk to natural disaster. The data center is low in natural disaster of flood because there are no history of flood in the area. This is due to the high ground and good sewage planning. Besides that, the area are out of earth quake and also landslide this is because there are no mountain. There are some high wind activity that not dangerous enough to create tornado or do heavy damage to building and it rarely happens. The air conditioner is available for 24 hour for data center with 2 source that regulate with every 8 hour that are regulate to each other.
