Have you ever heard of “Silent Epidemic”? Or wondered why so many players are missing? Some coaches may deny it, but you know it 's true. Injuries are to common in Football.
In 2010 alone, nearly 10.4 million visits to the doctor 's office were caused by knee injuries in football. Many players may think they’re just tired. “Pain and swelling are the two most common signs of a knee injury.”-American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Some kids don’t even know they have an injury. When kids are overscheduled and pushed to hard, this is known as the ‘silent epidemic’. When a child pushes themselves to hard, this makes the muscles uncomfortable and may cause future damage to the child.
