the fear appeal will be more successful. One example is if people do not stop cutting down trees, oxygen will slowly be depleted until there is not enough to sustain the world. A second example is if the world continues to pollute the environment through developing and using technology as well as wrongful places for garbage disposal, humans, plants, animals, and their environments will be affected by global warming. The next principle is that by increasing the intensity of the fear appeal through evidence and a credible speaker, there is a higher chance of success that the fear appeal will work. A strong fear appeal will cause the audience to be persuaded into making a change.
In America, most of the crime is committed by juveniles. In fact, the justice department estimates that about 10% of all homicides are committed by people under the age of 18 (Clarke, 2015). Once minors commit a crime, they are tried in a court system that is either the juvenile justice system or the adult justice system. Both of these court systems have similarities as well as differences. The similarities show how the much the juvenile and adult courts have in common and how they are not too different from one another.

Guns are just a tool, like knives and hammers and it completely depends on the people on how they use it. People who support guns and arms say that the Second Amendment secures individual’s right to carry guns with them and that gun rights is needed for self-protection, and was intended for military to have peace and defend the country if needed (Spitzer, 70). Most of the Americans use guns as a source to protect themselves and they believe that gun ownership prevents crime. A study conducted on November 26, 2013 showed that bans on weapons did not significantly affect murder rates at the state level (Lane, 5). Moreover, even if the rules and regulations are executed on gun control, not all criminals obey the law.

Over the past decade, the world has changed drastically due to globalization. Although everybody experiences it, the third world countries are proven to be the most affected. Not only does it affect the economic, political and cultural aspects of the world, but it is also one of the main factors for the growth of crime rate. Although globalization may be sought to be an opportunity for developing countries to improve, those who benefit are minorities.

Imagine sitting in a classroom laughing at a joke your friend made, or planning on going to the movies after school, or even listening to someone’s persuasive speech essay. When suddenly someone bursts through the door with an automatic weapon in hand. You and your friends run and hide in the corner of the classroom, you are all afraid that you will never be able to see the faces of your friends, teachers, or family members ever again. How could something like this happen you may ask? It happens often because of how lenient gun laws are in America and something needs to change.
