We believe that phenomenology is a more appropriate theoretical perspective to study the conscious experiences of interviewees from first-person point of view. We would like to understand the relationship between experiences and the phenomena that we derive from it. Starting from a perspective-free conception, we would like to seek how experiences are described rather than explain why these actions are made. Our only legitimate source of data are views and experiences of the participants themselves.
Our group had a meeting and based our overall findings on individuals’ transcripts, respondent’s life history and ZMET summary. We first looked through our individual projects, then talked about the general experiences and significant findings we found. We then related each other’s themes and merged them into 4 themes for the group project. After the themes were found, we were each in charge of writing a paragraph for each of the themes in order to compile evidence from each of our interviewees. Finally, the themes were separated so each group member could format the information under each

Although it was a site for J-pop, there were links for K-pop sites. She went to K-pop sites and watched several music videos. The site automatically provided other “recommended clips” for her to watch whenever she finished watching one music video. After all, she spent her whole day watching and listening to K-pop. Although Ji Young was nearly halfway around the world, she could have an equal access to K-pop as people living in Korea. She grew up in a Caucasian neighborhood with the only Asian people she knows being her family. Later when her father is taken by the FBI she is forced to move to an entirely Asian neighborhood and we learn she has a genuine fear of Asian people. This is significant as this initial case of Xenophobia sets the backdrop for her uneasiness with Japanese culture. By the time she moves to the internment camp she has a grasp of both cultures and is faced with the start of her main struggle between these two cultures. This is evidenced by the two main activities she participated in at Manzanar, Baton Spinning and Japanese Dance.

I also did some things differently from the first time resulting in less stress. My group and I had many ideas on different categories to research, but we eventually agreed on something we were all interested in. While doing this project I encountered a few problems that I became frustrated with. One of my biggest issues was deciding what was most important to include in my essay and presentation. There seemed to be a wide variety of important information I could use.

1.INTRODUCTION OF COMPANY My PESTEL analysis for this piece of writing is based on the famous international lingerie company, Victoria Secret. Victoria Secret was founded in 1977 by Roy Raymond, and his wife. Roy Raymond’s interest in a lingerie line was sparked by his embarrassment when purchasing lingerie for his wife. It was then that he studied the market before deciding to go into business, opening their very first store in Palo Alto, California. His vision then, was to have a store that would make everyone, especially men, comfortable shopping for lingerie.
Literature Review Since this work aims to take on a new approach to fandom studies, namely putting male idols under the framework of affective labor and focusing on the emerging relationships between fans and idols, several theories need to be addressed in this section. First we need to consider not only what affective labor is and how it can be applied in this case study but also look at other parts of the Japanese entertainment industry where affective labor is visible. Hardly any attention has been paid to this connection and therefore affective labor is rarely explicitly mentioned but the thought of affective labor being a key element to Japanese entertainment industry should become clear throughout this chapter. A second important point

The Homogeneity of Pop Music Pop music, or popular music, in the modern sense has been around in the United States for several decades, having begun around the late sixties, and has encompassed an assortment of genres throughout its progression. As pop music has aged and adapted, an increasingly common complaint among the critics of this genre is all pop songs being homogenous, or they “all sounds the same”. Typically, the fans of this genre respond by stating each song is easily distinguishable from one another, provide a unique musical experience, or they aren’t less unique than any other category of music. Nevertheless, recent evidence supports the notion of pop music sharing numerous underlying traits between many of its songs. The homogeneity
