There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. I Co. 10:13 Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. III Jn. 2
I feel insecure and have concerns. However, Scripture encourages me that even at the end of my days, the love of God will not leave me alone as "[He is] with me" (Psalm 23:4). It is the presence of God that provides me with security throughout my life, even at the time of my death. Also I realize that my relationship with God will not just end at my death, but it is forever, as John 10:28 says "I give them eternal life". Jesus comforts us in John 14:1-3 that we are going to a place, heaven, which Jesus has prepared for us.
This fact is clearly manifested as we look back at the life of Joseph. The Vacation Bible School theme is Farm Fresh FAITH. God is faithful and we need to always trust in Him. These lessons should help to prepare teens for a life where things don’t always seem to go right. We need to make sure that our students know that God is good all the time even when we can’t see it.
If for any reason you think the plan is moving too slow for you, then I ask you to please recognize that as an old pattern and an old way of approaching an old circumstance. Impatience stems from an anxious heart. And anxiety is the adversary of wholeness. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Yes I learned to do everything differently because of that moment in my life. That was the beginning of my journey home to my lord and savior. But there were other moments when I was led by the Holy Spirit to other people and by his grace I did not and have not faltered. Many times I have reflected on that moment and I’ve seen his holy plan for me. My faith is my strength.
“Christ’s perfect life is the antidote for the weight of the law and commands of God. When we take up God’s Word and read it as a book of instructions, rules, and commands that we need to follow in order to be accepted or loved by God, we are asserting that, as great as Christ’s work was, we are capable of keeping the directives of God in a satisfactory manner. This will never be the case” (Hulshof, p. 31, ¶ 8). Lastly, redemption is at stake. Many believe that, “In the end, God could have simply left us with a book and a mandate to follow the instructions as best we can.
Here, David says the Lord is light and He is salvation which means He guides and provides deliverance. God will guide you with His word and he will answer all your tribulations. God also adds joy to people’s lives. “The LORD is the stronghold of my life,” He provides with a source of strength to overcome difficult times in your life. Furthermore, He will show you the right path to take when you’re facing troubles in your life.

Well, I simple definition of the word faith says that it is, the acceptance of the word of another, trusting that one knows what the other is saying and is honest in telling the truth. To me though, my definition of faith is a little different. As what I would call my definition of my faith would be, the acknowledgment that God is always watching over me making a difference in my life so that I can make a difference in others. With this definition is where my motivation comes from. It is to serve those who have not been served.
I usually don’t want a long distance relationship but because of him I didn’t mind. That feeling when every time I pray to God, the first thing that I will say is “Lord, thank you for giving Him to me. I am so happy that I have him in my life.” I felt so happy and I thought that we will last forever. I used to think that love comes only to the right person, that what you feel for the person is so unique and you will never feel that feeling to another
Philippians 2:12-14 speaks about this spiritual co-operation between us and God, “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Do everything without complaining or arguing.” I love this scripture as it gives each of us some clear principles for living in Christ. You work out your own salvation. As salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and by obedience we work it out or live it out!
Finally, the last characteristic Simon possesses is that he is devotedly faithful. He is an enormous believer of God and loves sharing his faith with other people. This is proven during various conversations with Reverend Russell and his best friend, Joe Wenteworth. When Simon is talking to the reverend, he suggests that God made him the way he is for a reason and says, “I think I 'm God 's instrument - that he 's gonna use me to carry out his plan.” Despite the reverend not agreeing to this statement, Simon still has faith he is.
This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (New Kings James Version). The people at this organization fulfill the commandments spoken by the Lord in Matthew to love Him and love others. They love these children wholeheartedly and are making a difference in their
When a person decides to follow God, they will still face obstacles. Moreover, they can rest in His promises for provision in various forms. Acting in the fruit of faithfulness allows God to provide the believer protection, although one should remain aware of the risk and reward of their decision. When someone has made the choice to lay down their life to follow God, the fruit of faithfulness they can begin to follow without fear. As a believer continually seeks His will for their life, the fruit
