1.0 Introduction Global warming is the average of global temperature had increased at the fastest rate in the recorded history in this past 50 years Now, global warming is a bigger problem for the earth. The initial cause of global warming is the carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have bounced off the earth's surface. The gases trap the heat and make the planet hotter (MacMillan 2016). Global Warming has brought a lot of effect like sea level rise, extreme weather and disruption of habitats. The aim of this research is to find the matter to prevent global warming by the government. 2.0 Government sign Kyoto Protocol 2.1 Summary of Kyoto Protocol The Kyoto Protocol…show more content…
Nuclear energy is a clean energy but facing the safety problem. For example, nuclear accident at Chernobyl, Ukraine on 26 April 1986 is considered the world’s worst nuclear disaster to date (Union of Concerned Scientists nd). This nuclear accident resulted in the greatest release of radioactivity ever recorded in one technological disaster. The cancer risk was similar to the fall-out from a large nuclear explosion. The large-scale toxic releases from this accident. The exposure to radioactivity will increase the cancer-risk and childhood leukaemia. If a father's exposure to routine low-level radiation on the job may increase his children's risk of contracting leukaemia by six to eight-fold (Leggett…show more content…
For example, the safety problem of nuclear energy. Nuclear energy is a clean energy because do not release carbon dioxide. But it is facing the big safety problem. R&D can increase the technology to solve this problem. R&D also can lower the costs of solar power. Solar power is a clean and renewable energy but the solar energy is expensive (Casper 2010). It makes the solar energy needs high costs. 4.2 Transportation The government can tax the private cars to decrease the number of private cars. Private cars become cheaper than before. That makes the number of private cars increase as well. The government can tax the cars to decrease the number of cars. The tax money can use on the public transportation. The public transport can be more convenient. 5.0 Conclusion It is not easy to prevent global warming in a short period. The government is facing a lot of problems. For example, solar energy and nuclear power still have a lot of unsolved problems. What can government can do is increase research and development to solve the problems of renewable power. The fastest way to prevent global warming is all human cooperate with the government. All human is equally responsible for preventing global warming. Earth is our mother. We should save
