As Billy promised he lobbed the ball straight down the middle and Tim clobbered the ball. Luckily the ball was caught by the farm teams k-9 center skinner. That was game the Farm team had won. The Kenwoods furiously drove off first thing after the game was
The 8th graders knew the game would be close after a narrow win previously at Green Co. Metcalfe started out hot outscoring Green 12-2 in the 1st quarter and powering the ball to the hole. However, the 2nd quarter was all Green Co. outscoring Metcalfe 16 - 2. The half-time score showed Metcalfe down 14 - 23. Rebounding was in favor of Green Co. with them pulling down 36 to Metcalfe’s 25.
In Green bay, Wisconsin, at a softball facility, on January 23rd, Seriena Dunaway was playing in a softball league. Dunaway was playing against Elite, her team 's biggest rival. The air was cool and the playing turf was rough and hard to run or slide on. The people in the crowd could see the tension. The music was loud and seemed out of place.
A day in the summer there was a football game played at Kimberly’s turf located in Kimberly Wisconsin. A 7th grade Kimberly football team was playing another great team called the Neenah Rockets they had a massive running back that had this bushy mustache and they had a pretty fast good throwing quarterback. The Neenah rockets had great talent but so did Kimberly. This game was going to be a great one, cold fans crowded the stands eating fresh popcorn and very chocolatey hot chocolate in very white cups as the game started it was 0-0 after the first 4 and a half quarters and in the last minutes something big happens when we are on defense… WORK ON Before the game started we were in warm ups doing frankenstein's, lounges, karaoke, and four’s etc.
“ At least we won that game.” The South African National Field Hockey team won the game fair and square with a score of 3-0 against the United States. This feat placed South Africa above Malaysia and the United States. Despite placing in the bottom half in the final standings, Fulton remains thankful for the experience.
Failure for Moorestown girls lacrosse is not an option. This powerhouse lacrosse program had a winning streak of eighty-eight consecutive games. My sophomore year the program experienced their first loss in what seemed like forever. Continuously, the timer on the scoreboard got closer to triple zeros, everyone’s hearts went into their throats anticipating the end. The opposing team was up by one and were stalling the ball.

By the time the game ended the Miami Hurricanes had one the game with an ending score of 36-33!
As I arrived at Jock Leighton Park, I started to have second thoughts. “Do I really have to do this?” , I asked my mom as we pulled into the parking lot. The lot was dim compared to the blinding, white lights on the lacrosse field. There were two giant, green fields that were side-by-side, with metal bleachers intersecting them.
Carter said to me on the way back into the dugout, “I’m as nervous as a fireman on his first call.” I said, “Don’t be. We are going to win, then advance, and the win state.” The game finally started. We were the home team, so we started in the field first.
On a cold, frosty, snow cover night in November at Welcome Home Stadium, was when my life changed. That night, two teams played for the chance to call themselves champions of 6th-grade football. All game, my team and I battled against the mighty Wilmington Hurricanes. We fought all game to win and finally we got the ball back with less than under a minute left and down by 4 points. The crowd was quieter than a church mouse as my coaches huddled us up during a timeout, and in that timeout, my coaches looked to me for answers.
Going into this game, I knew we were going to lose. And I thought I was going to do what I did best, playing shortstop. But in the third inning, coach Jason changed my life! He put me in at the pitcher’s mound. Coming in the dugout from being at bat, I take the helmet off and toss it in the bag, just as coach Jason starts calling out positions.
Cole Freeling Changing rules in USA Lacrosse Association/NCAA Women's Lacrosse Introduction: If you have watched the sport of lacrosse, you will notice that women's lacrosse is a lot different than men's lacrosse. Men’s lacrosse is a full contact sport while the game of women's lacrosse is no contact and the rules are vastly different, and many women wish the sport was more like the men’s version of lacrosse. Campaign: Change the sport of lacrosse for woman I am proposing that women's lacrosse should involve more contact, and should alter the rules to do so.
If there’s one thing that every Kansas Citian knows and loves, it's sports. With many successful professional teams, intense college rivalries and a plethora of youth and high school sports, everyone has an investment in local athletics. And while the classics– football, soccer and baseball– have held our citizens' investment in an iron grip, a new sport has been growing steadily behind the scenes: lacrosse.
