TOPIC: Personal reflection on core competencies that you have developed related to language/culture

The first thing that comes to mind is in a shape of self-questioning. Question like; is there a country in the world that is mono-linguistic? The realisation that this is far fetched therefore suggests that with the globalisation of the world, it is practically impossible to have a territory that speaks or communicate in one language. Mass movement of people across the world such as; tourists, business travelers, immigrants and explorers all make up the numerous inhabitants of the global village. To properly domesticate this ideology, it is essential to put into context and weigh in real terms the exact situation of human co-existence.
