However, there are still some factors affecting the research. Some statistics from the Internet are unspecific and they are too general. The researches are effective. It is easy to find the materials from the Internet and my classmates who are learning the second language can also provide their opinions about the second-language

It was believed that if the proficiency skills for Spanish were high then the students comprehension skills in English would be high too. They did a pretest posttest quantitative long term study with 200 children ages 6 and
For example, Stanford sociology professor Kenji Hakuta, in an article summarizing years of research on the topic, writes, “…one defensible conclusion from the Ramirez et al. study [is] that early-exit bilingual programs appeared to yield better outcomes in English literacy than did the English immersion programs” (Hakuta 2011, 166). The official Supreme Court Opinion in Flores v. Horne concluded, however, “Research on ELL instruction and findings by the State Department of Education support the view that SEI [Structured English Immersion] is significantly more effective than bilingual education.” (U.S. 2009, 4). Aside from these conflicting conclusions, a disturbingly large amount of research on the topic is downright misleading.
However, the debate in modern day America is whether bilingual education is still useful for educating non-English speakers, or if the use and implementation are outdated and unsuccessful. Either side whether in favor of bilingual programs or not want to provide a quality education that will prepare students for life academically. While those in favor of bilingual programs prefer the using the native language of the students as a portion of the curriculum because bilingual educators suggest it aids the student to be fluent in both languages furthering their opportunities in the future. And those against bilingual education argue that focusing on the English proficiency will better prepare students for life in America. Education is continually updated as new research provides improvised methods of teaching, and as a result, many scholarly articles on the subject of education have contrasting viewpoints on whether or not bilingual education is useful for students, with more scholars leaning towards English immersion
Students who know more than one language have increased test scores, do better in math and reading, and have a better understanding on their first language. Others may argue that learning a new language will hinder learning because it is taxing on the students. While learning a new language is very difficult it makes students think harder; it pushes them to try something different which they then carry over to their other classes. Overall the benefits of learning a new language far outweigh the consequences.
The outcomes of the research will be intended to increase understanding about bilingualism and used as an aid to parents to choose suitable school for the children and to students to decide which university to go to study. The research includes several different methods. This enable the data and information accumulated by one technique to be checked and affirmed by an alternate.
The four major differences I have found throughout my different Spanish classes are letter sounds, each gender, articles, and word placement. One of my favorite things about the Spanish alphabet is their use of letter sounds. One of the hardest things I have heard about learning English, is the fact that most of the letters have different sounds. In the Spanish alphabet, each individual letter has its own unique sound. The next difference between the two is genders.
Meeting the School Readiness Needs of Latino Dual Language Learners in the Early Childhood Classroom Latinos in the United States as of 2013 is the largest growing minority group. For one, I agree because the article presented a study to accompany the information it provided. Futhermore, this study elaborated on the idea of metalinguistic knowledge. The textbook defines this concept as the ability to consciously reflect on language as an object of thought; paying special attention to specific features of language and its structure. The article stated that research shows that learning two languages help develop metalinguistic awareness. The use of dual language books is both helpful and effective in the classroom because students can use their metalinguistic awareness to compare and contrast two languages in order to discover similarities and differences between them.
The students will develop pride in themselves and their heritage. Thus, the psychological and cognitive aspects involved in learning of two or more languages in an educational setting, the challenges of linguistic planning and the translation of information across languages is what we shall discuss elaborately in subsequent sections. I shall attempt to provide on the one hand an overview of L1 learning, and on the other hand some ways in which this relates to L2 learning in a
