Once users are addicted to a drug, users want to continuously buy them so they can continuously use them. The dealers see this pattern and in return raise up the price of their drugs. This leaves the drug consumers poor. Depression can spark from this and cause for another need for a reliance on drugs. Depression from any origin could spark a start in drug use in adolescents because drugs stimulate the mind and can work as a temporary “solution” to get the adolescents to take their mind off things. They might feel better once on drugs and continue the use of them to achieve that better
