As Accounting Manager for a small non-profit, I’m responsible for maintaining organizational financial records using generally accepted accounting principles. I spend a lot to time performing controlling tasks, such as verifying & recording transactions, processing accounts payable, maintaining corporate records, and obtaining supportive documentation from other employees and departments. After completing the Leadership Skills Self-Assessment, the outcomes were similar my expectations prior to completing the valuation. My scores were strong in both major areas: (1) Leads others and (2) Produces results, which makes sense to me. Based on the total scores for the identified leadership skills, I scored strongest in the in the below areas.

Strength: Strength is a huge component in society as in at the Central Minnesota Credit Union. Having everyone come together and know what is going on and having great leaders is powerful. To me the strength does not just come from one person it comes from everyone and who ever contributes will make the credit union stronger. One way to make the credit union stronger is to tell others about it and to make it become larger. In this case the more the better and it helps out everyone.
Finally, my decision fairness empowers others to be involved in our daily tasks. I scored highest in action under core leadership skills, which include: decision making, communication, and mobilizing others. I feel this supports my frame of leadership as well. Moreover, I feel mobilizing others generates employees to feel respected and valued. When employees feel their leaders are emotionally invested in them it empowers them to do well for the leader.
Vision and Goals The Strengths Based Leadership assessment identified myself as being responsible, someone who can relate and communicate well with others, futuristic and encouraging. My goals for myself change a lot, however my vision for the communities that I serve, is to be the person who accommodates each characteristic described by the Strengths based assessment. Leader Competencies are leadership skills and behaviors that contribute to superior performance. Leaders outdated skills and behaviors encouraged change over many years. The three main categories of competences are to Lead, Develop, and Achieve. Army leaders serve to lead others, develop themselves, environment and profession as a whole, and to also achieve organizational goals. In order for an Army leader to lead they must apply the attributes to guide Soldiers towards a common goal and mission accomplishments.
Nevertheless, it is the way that friction is approached that makes a difference. By applying my positive attitude and sense of finding a common ground among coworkers, it will enable me to apply this strength to my daily life. Lastly, the strength of achiever was a lesser theme for me compared to my other top strengths. I sometimes take on too many tasks and want to accomplish many things in order to make me feel good about myself. I am extremely committed to everything I do and influence others to succeed in what they do.

Throughout my entire life I have been constantly learning and improving a wide range of personal and social leadership skills, especially in these most recent few years of middle school and high school. These skills have not only helped me to get where I am today, but have also become a huge influence for my personality and overall perception of the world around me. These skills have helped me to build relationships, gain experience and opportunities, improve my personal outlook, and change my entire approach to everything I do in a positive way. But I know it does not stop there. It is never truly possible to fully possess a leadership skill in its entirety.
I do believe that my strengths do include communicative elements. I have a way with connecting to people on a deeper level and I could never do that without any kind of hidden communicative strength. Leadership Journal Report Assignment Skills Inventory: The skills inventory, which includes technical, human, and conceptual skill, helps me to measure my three leadership competencies of me. It lets me to understand how my skills separate to three leadership skill approaches. According to our textbook, although all of three skills are important to leaders, the importance of each skill varies between different management levels. By scoring it, I got 19 in technical skill, 21 in conceptual skill, and 25 in human skill, which is the highest one.

Through self-reflection and academic readings, I have discovered that I identify with three different leadership theories. During the first meeting in a Strength Based Leadership class, we were asked to write our leadership history. The class then began an ongoing exploration of various leadership theories. Upon reviewing my leadership history from the first class and synthesizing the information from the theories that were examined, I discovered that I most resonate with the Trait Leadership Theory, the Skills Leadership Theory, and the Path-Goal Leadership theory. These theories are leader focused, describing the process and techniques a leader uses to accomplish goals.

To me, it is hard to define what leadership is, especially in one sentence, but I agree with you that leadership is the action of leading others or an organization.
