The problem that will be studied in this thesis is how the volunteers perceive their leaders regarding the cooperation with change. The problem is always about the ways that leaders use in making the surrounding conditions ripe for volunteers to make their service performance an easy going activity, while minimizing burdens to the most possible. Being a good leader is a process. Practicing leadership skills, create an effective leader who achieves his or her goals by working together with an effective team. Hence, self-discovery helps to know more about the strengths and weaknesses of a person.
The autocratic leadership is found with the evidence of efficient decision making processes of leaders. The leaders in this style are appropriate for the urgencies and crises in which rapid decisions are required. However, the subordinates may not have experience of being consulted. The negative aspects of the autocratic leadership involve the ignorance of subordinates’ opinions. There is overdependence on the leaders because of which it is not easy to make decisions in the absence of leaders.

Week two talks about leadership qualities. Leadership is how an individual influences another individual or groups to achieve a common purpose. For a leader to achieve its set purpose or vision towards individual, organization, or a group, influence is the aim. Influence, therefore is the ability to direct or indirect manipulation to get others to act or respond in accordance to a leader’s want or desires. When a leader leads, the leader will often times have the people he or she is leading conform to his or her ways of doing things or at least agrees with the leader, which in this case regard as being obedience.
