About his quest for the light, to self-cleaning, to seek for God in himself and his service to the people. This is an incredible person and thus good performance appeared.

A man is engaged in dialogue with himself in various times of a day, in different periods of his life. It is a very austere conversation, because when you are self interlocutor, you can not trick yourself. You can be severe, can be forgiving to yourself, but never lie. I considered this topic a very interesting in drama and decided to delve into it. "The Conductor" somehow concerns this kind of philosophical problems - said Leon Agulyansky.
The poem "Men's Conversation," which also has sounded at a recital, is devoted this topic.
We`ll somehow manage to stand out
From dawn till dark. We always fit.
Our interlocutors` verbal shower will submit evil thoughts on sparkly spit.
A health is spent for money to buy drugs.
We`re sick and tiered to have a chance to rest.
A stranger life`s full of deceit for
This is a summary taken from “Saying Yes” by Jacob Sullum; Chapter 8; “Body and Soul”. An ever-present theme in Sullum’s book is what he calls “voodoo pharmacology”—the idea, promoted in large part by the government, that certain drugs have the power to hijack people and enslave them in an inescapable prison of craving and compulsion. Sullum seeks to show that this idea is a myth, that only a tiny percentage of illegal-drug users become addicts, whereas the vast majority of people who use illegal drugs live normal, productive, loving lives. The book is filled with valuable insights derived from deconstructing government statistics about drugs and drug use. Sullum shows how even the most vilified drugs, such as heroin and crack cocaine, are
Sam Quinones utilizes ethos, pathos and logos in order to fight against false information with his credibility and logic as a journalist,to sway their opinion and channel their emotions to help rebuild the community and fight addiction. communities have suffered from the false salvation of using drugs for treatments against addiction when it only fuels the fire. He uses logos to convey this by laying out facts about addiction.one thing the author stated was “The U.S. medical system is good at fighting disease, Cahana believes, and awful at leading people to wellness. ”― Sam Quinones, Dreamland. He said this because he has witnessed communities that were already falling apart be ripped down by government funded opium replacements also known as oxycodone.
However, what happens when a character is the creation of another’s mind? Amy exists as an individual entity in the characters’ world in Flies with Honey. However, she is presented to the audience as a projection of Anna’s guilt and thus her characterisation is constructed on how Anna views Amy rather than Amy being someone with autonomous choices and actions. Such issues arise and are confronted in other theatrical texts.
Drugs only provide temporary tranquility, and cannot fix the long term effects of trauma. The excessive use of substances interferes with the functionality of the human brain, preventing an individual from thinking clearly. In the song “Sam Stone”, the author says, “But the morphine eased the pain, And the grass grew round his brain” (Prine 1). The song lyric illustrates the brief soothing effect of morphine, but also demonstrates the lack of clarity it causes to an individual. The cost of morphine is a large financial burden, and without government support, it drives their monetary value to the ground.
“A gram is better than a damn,” is a statement that reflects the mindset of contemporary America to use drugs to palliate the problems rather than dealing with them. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley shows the relationship of drug usage in the near future by alluding the use of drugs to the real world. Huxley creates a drug, soma, in his novel that makes a person who takes it instantly becomes tranquil. This drug is commonly used throughout the novel by giving an instant source of gratification and also is used to control the population. Huxley’s prediction of drug usage became a reality because both legal and illegal drugs are commonly used in contemporary society.
The legalization of drugs has been at the center of interminable debate. Drugs have widely been perceived as a dominant threat to the moral fabric of society. Drug use has been attributed as the source responsible for a myriad of key issues. For instance, it is believed that drugs have exacerbated the already weak status of mental health in the United States in which some individuals suffering from mental illness administer illicit substances such as heroin or cocaine in an attempt to self-medicate. Moreover, drugs are blamed for turning auspicious members of the community into worthless degenerates.
1. Mr. Burns presents a unique take on the field of acting. During the first act, there was a closed off and often quiet tone to the play. The characters are all spaced out and separated even as their common conversation is being given. The only time they come closer together figuratively and literally is when they’re feeling threatened.
Healthcare is something everyone needs and should be able to get, but right now that is not happening. In America there are millions of people who don’t have healthcare insurance. This is because some can’t afford the insurance plan. There are also millions more who have health insurance, but can’t afford using it. This means that they are paying for an insurance plan, but the deductibles are so high they can’t afford to go to the doctor.
I was born in Russia before the revolution. I was born in Tula province and my name then was not Mikhail, or even Misha, as I am known here in America. No, my real name–the one given to me at birth–was Leonid Sednyov, and I was known as Leonka” (12). His identity is stated clearly and he goes on to state his position in the Ipatiev House, “What I wish to confess is that I was the kitchen boy in the Ipatiev house where the Tsar and Tsaritsa, Nikolai and Aleksandra, were imprisoned” (12). It is made unmistakably evident that he worked as a kitchen boy in the Ipatiev House.
She took as much as twenty grammes a day” (Huxley 143). The truth is that not everybody is happy, but in order to control the masses and escape this hard truth, drugs are distributed and consumed. The fact that drugs are a distraction is not a secret, so instead of solving the issues at hand it is much easier to provide distractions so people will not come to a realization and revolt or cave under the
Discuss the innovations in the music of Stravinsky’s ‘Russian Period’ with specific reference to The Rite of Spring and at least one other work. The Aristotelian element of drama known as spectacle, or what is seen onstage, is important to the development of any play or musical. Spectacle plays an influential and essential role in Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House. The specific things and actions the audience sees in this play provides them with necessary information to understand the characters, storyline, and many other aspects of the play. There are numerous examples of specific things Ibsen intended for the patrons to observe throughout the course of this show.
Compositional Innovations in Sergei Prokofiev’s Sarcasms Op.17 Abstract Consisting of five miniatures, the Sarcasms Op. 17 was composed in 1912-1914 and was one of Prokofiev’s early pieces during his years at the St. Petersburg Conservatory (1904-1914). His years in the conservatory helped him to establish his early style, which highly resembled that of his predecessors, romanticists Scriabin and Rachmaninoff, at the beginning of his career.
