Leonardo Da vinci was an Italian polymath who’s area’s interest in invention, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music. He is known for his two famous masterpieces which are “The Last Supper” & “The Mona Lisa. In the movie “The Da vinci Code” it shows both paintings, but one stuck out more “The Last Supper”. In the movie it mentions Mary of Magdalene who was sitting to the right side of Jesus in the position of power in the painting whom was assume to be the new leader of the church after Jesus’s death. Who is also to be assumed to be his wife. Peter became the leader of the church due to Mary absence. Mary fled to France to deliver her unborn child never to return the holy land again. This has caused our society to suffer in non-critical thinking and with film makers delivering movies about religion and society not taking the time to research and study their bible may take modern film maker portrayal of the gospel as fact this alone can endanger christianity and the church as God intended for it to be. The modern film makers I hope that they take time and do their research that the movies are so factual and true that when mankind takes time to read their bible they can see the actual comparison of the movie and God words to be a-line with one another. For example, if they chose to take God works for a comedy some believers my take offense because they might believe that the filmmakers are mocking God’s word. Which could be perceived as a sin by some doctrines, but. Then there could be some people in the christian church that may receive a filmmakers comedy about God as another form of ministry to reach those that may not go to Church or read their bible. Even in today’s world there are christians comedians that present God’s word in a funny factual way that brings comfort happiness and laughter to society.
