Leonardo da Vinci is famous for his incredible artwork. The process this inventor took behind this artwork, however, was more scientific than what meets the eye. As a boy da Vinci studied under Andrea del Verrochio. This “initiated him into a wide field of technological skills,” expanding his knowledge of the technical world (Keele, 43). However, Leonardo found his love for the arts outside of Verrocio’s studio. He applied his knowledge of the technical world to his philosophical art and found how perspective, light, shadows, and color could affect the human psyche. This caused Leonardo to question how these aesthetics enhanced the “experience” within the “senso comune” (Keele, 44). It was this “‘experience, the mistress

Describe what you learned from your research and how it is significant to you. What I’ve learned from Leonardo’s “The work of Leonardo da Vinci on perspective, light, shadows, and color in painting” is that it is important how the sun cast shadows if you are going to paint with color and light. Some artist knew that illusion of relief was created by adding internal shadows to the traced silhouette and shadows has become a pictorial convention in painting.
For my research paper I decided to write about a man who wasn't known as just an artist, but a writer, Mathematician, and an inventor, Leonardo da Vinci. I first heard of him back in middle school when we were shown a huge beautiful wooden portrait of “The Last Supper”, and beyond that, I’ve seen him as one of the most famous and influential artists of all time. In one of my favorite video games, Leonardo da Vinci was seen as a funny and adorable character to be around, he helped the main character a lot and through that I got to see some of his character around people and the things that he did such as his inventions like the flying machine that helped the main character, so I am happy that this research paper is giving me the chance to actually get to know him. Leonardo da Vinci, also known as the “Renaissance man”. He was born on
How intelligent does a person have to be to be considered a genius? Does his talents have to exceed from the norm in one particular area or few? It is definitely a special kind of human being with exceptional talents, abilities, and intellect. It can be described as trust in your own intuition on solving of a task where a regular person would fear to take a risk. The achievements should be positively viewed by the environment because a genius also needs to be a good example to others, trying to educate or influence them to expend their scholar abilities.
“Iron rusts from disuse; water loses its purity from stagnation… even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind.” These are the words of Leonardo Da Vinci, a man who lived during the period now referred to as “The Renaissance” and is now physically gone. Many may argue that there are more modern inventors that have made an impact on our lives, such as the renowned inventor Thomas Edison. However, Leonardo Da Vinci, a man who lived centuries ago, lives on in our culture, from travel, to warfare, and even in our art. Therefore, Da Vinci may be considered the most prominent and influential inventor in history.

Leonardo da Vinci’s life and accomplishes have had the greatest impact on our modern world. Leonardo was an artist, architect, and sculptor. That is why I chose to research Leonardo da Vinci.
