The health and safety at work is the legislation, which covers the employees’ health and safety in the UK. The law requires a high level of management that employers must follow, they must look at risks and assess them and take a sensible measure to prevent these risks from happening. The complaint procedure should be understandable to all. If a complaint is made against someone they will be informed and given the opportunity to respond and have the right to appeal the
The standards of a Sterling Scholar, scholarship, citizenship and leadership have been exemplified in the way I have conducted my life through the following examples.
Unit 4 is the preparation of treatment in which the baseline data (activity level) is gathered. This includes daily activity record and behaviour contract. A daily activity record ( hour by hour ) is used to monitor activities clients is already doing, to see the frequency of healthy and unhealthy behaviours. (Lejuez, 2001, p. 265). In this phase, the client is encouraged to create an environment, one that promotes healthy behaviours (Lejuez, 2001). Behaviour is one corner of the triangle, which affects the person and their behaviour, and vice versa. A formal behaviour contract will outline the behaviours the client wishes to engage in ( healthy behaviours ) and behaviours they aim to reduce ( unhealthy behaviours). Friends and family can
If we supposed that the service level agreement states that the system would not be offline or unavailable more than 45000 seconds a month then the goal would be to stay away from exciding the stated time. In the data from the years 2009-2017 we can see that the average total downtown is 44151.24 and we can determine that for the most part we are keeping with the goal of not exciding the 45000 mark. In the histogram, we can also see that there was also a high number of occurrences were the system was offline or unavailable for more than 45000.
This piece of work will be focusing on a child aged 18 months starting a nursery day care setting. The two key issues that will be looked at in this assignment will be planning, preparing and reviewing for the child to settling into the setting. Secondly I will be looking into the child’s emotional support that the child may need when starting the setting, along with the attachments of the child that will need to be built or have already been put in place.
In the ever changing landscape of health and social care and children and young person’s settings there are many pieces of government legislation and regulatory framework that service providers and organisations must now comply with.
The barriers in health and social care are physical barriers, psychological barriers, financial barriers, geographical barriers, cultural/language barriers and resource barriers.
P4- when looking at strategies and communication techniques used with different individuals with different needs whom need to overcome different challenges many aspects must be looked at. A challenge Patrick may face may be awareness and knowledge, he may face this as well as others. Patrick may be aware that he has HIV however he may not be aware how much this will effect him and he may not be aware how to deal with it as he may lack the knowledge. In order to overcome this Patrick could educate himself in depth on HIV, this will help him come to terms with it and will also help him to help others understand HIV. A challenge Alice may face might be acceptance or belief, she may not have the determination to become alcohol free and therefore

Whenever I received complaints, the problem is that the subordinates usually deny or come up with some explanations making it difficult to discuss it in a genuine manner. Sometimes even if we reprimand them for their mistakes it creates a very tense environment in the hospital and it also affects the quality of work. Also I need to find times to handle complaints patiently or else the situation gets angered and gets further complicated.

Primary care is said to be the “first point of contact” for people when accessing the health care system in Ireland (Department of health and children 2001). The World health organisation(1978) outline that one of the main roles of primary health care is to provide access to care for the most vulnerable but also to identify and rectify the factors which lead to their early mortality. The Alma Ata declaration (1978) was a huge milestone in the development of primary care and they explain how essential it is for all populations’ health. Unfortunately the vulnerable populations in Ireland suffer the effects of the social determinates and also the health inequalities and die younger because they put up with a healthcare system which “places lesser value on the lives of those with lesser means” (Wren 2002). This is why primary health care is of uttermost importance, the nurse in the community must try to help prevent, educate and overcome these inequalities and provide the highest standards of health for all, which is not based on want but need.
