Gun control/violence is a disputed subject in today’s society, because it affects most citizens in our country. There are two major views on gun control. They are the liberal and conservative view. The liberal side falls on the left side of the political spectrum while the conservative side falls on the right side. Gun Control laws try to reduce criminals and criminal use of gun. The liberals favor stricter gun control laws because our country is the most heavily armed population and guns are a huge part of our crimes.
