Abstract
In India, some libraries and information centers made efforts to automate their library routines and services in the 1960’s. Nowadays most of the libraries have started or already have completed the process of computerization of their house keeping operations like, Acquisition, Cataloguing, Circulation, Serial Control, OPAC, etc. This article is a case study of the automation of library at DIHRM, New Delhi.
Key-words
Library Automation, Computerization of library, Library Software, Library Hardware, Database Creation.
Introduction
The term ‘automation’ was first introduced by D. S. Harder in 1936.

Acquisition module is very versatile in terms of functioning. Starting from the allocation of funds (budgeting) it has provision to acquire documents by different means and ways.
Circulation: This module covers all the operations of circulation right from creating member records to printing of reminders for outstanding loans, no dues certificates along with issue/return/renewal of documents, stock verifications, etc.
Database Maintenance/Retrospective data conversion: This module covers all operations of database creation and maintenance. It not only takes records from the acquisition, circulation module for the books recently acquired, but can also be used for retro-conversion. Such retro- conversion can be done by capturing bibliographic details of existing collection in the library and also by downloading required records from CD-ROM database. The records are validated and merged with the database. Bar-code labels for circulation purpose can also be printed out using this

from the respective books/journals.
The database could have also been created by filling up a separate data input sheet for each document. However it was avoided because of lengthy and time consuming process.
Problem faced in the process of automation
While cataloguing the books certain problems were faced by the library staffs. One of them was cataloguing of books which were in hindi language. Initially the data was entred in the source language but later on it was realized that users faced problems when they searched the catalogue. So the entire data was re-entered again into the roman script.
Another problem that we faced was the computers which were connected through Local Area Network (LAN) got frequently hanged because of which lot of inconveniences were caused to users as well as the staff members.
Hardware and Software requirement
Pentium IV, 256 RAM, CD-ROM Drive, Window NT or Window 2000
(Minimum Hardware and Software requirement is Pentium II, 32 MB RAM, Windows
Hardware platform This window support AMD/Intel pc. This window also support AMD/Intel pc. The hardware platform for ubunutu is uname-i. Use Home version is for home purposes or for normally users. In addition to this professional is for professions like doctors and lawyers.
1. Goal The primary purpose of this lab was to get familiar with RLES and establish a base infrastructure. This infrastructure includes a router/firewall and Linux server for network monitoring and documentation. Network monitoring is crucial in any infrastructure, no matter how small or how large.
International Journal of Students ' Research in Technology & Management, 2(6), 203-206. The autonomous car or the driverless car can be referred to as a robotic car in simple language. This car is capable of sensing the environment, navigating and fulfilling the human transportation capabilities without any human input. It is a big step in the advancing future technology.
As industrial revolution came in, advanced technology were introduced to the world and it workers in factory were frightened by these technologies. All the easy work were done much efficiently by machines
Reduce the boot time the user will be able completing the work quicker. Faster transfer keep up the work progress for example staff could get the information they need on time. Security is one of the errors as Microsoft is not delivery any security update
A 32-bit or 64bit OpenGL capable graphics adapter is strongly recommended. 3.3 Low Level Specifications • Microsoft Windows supported graphics accelerator card, printer, and sound card. • Microsoft Word 8.0 (Office 97), Office 2000. • TCP/IP is required on all platforms when using a license server. • Some license types require a license server running FLEXlm 8.0d, which is provided by the Math Works installer.
One of the main issue was the lack of communication and understanding between the key decision makers and IT team. These two parties were very disconnected in
In “Better than Human”, Kelly mentions that it will be a trend for robots to replace humans on most, or even every working position in the near future as a outcome of the development of automaton-related technology. “We need to let robots take over”, Kelly assures, “they will do jobs we have been doing, and do them much better than we can (Kelly 311)”. With his observation of the invention of Baxter, he is persuaded in a great extent that humans will acquire new jobs as their old jobs get replaced by automatons. This newly invented robot surprisingly contains several epochal features, disregarding its extremely low price compared to its predecessors. With its benefits, Baxter can be promoted easily and applied to many industries, decreasing the costs of production and even re-generating the market eventually.
Due to automation and robotics, around five million jobs exist with 300,000 people estimated to already be employed in industrial robotics.
Throughout history, the human has always envisioned living a lifestyle where chores were considered as a part of the past. With the development of humanoids and androids robots in the 1950’s, chores were really becoming part of the past. Therefore, because robots were able to adapt and meet the needs and wants of humans. As a result, we started to see an increase in both the use and production of robots in factories and households. In the article “The Robot Invasion” the author Charlie Gills, is really able to convey the relevance and effectiveness of a robot through the use of the tone, purpose, and credibility.
1. What is the problem? What were the underlying causes of this problem? The problem was happened because of the new knowledge management application, which was designed to copy information across network automatically, which also led to the main switch and consequently to the system collapse.
Do you keep giving money away to computer technicians to install the operating system and other software on your machine? Why not spend all that cash on something else and learn to do all this on your own? Use your old computer to install different operating systems, explore various options. The worst case scenario, you break something and have to do it all over again. There is no real
As technology and robotics progress, people continue to debate how jobs and careers could be affected. Robotic replacement might not have a negative effect , especially since it has helped our development to be able to survive. The process of the robotic development started in the industrial age. The industrial age is known for “a period in which fundamental changes
This condition led me towards problem related with shortage of time at the time of submission of the project. On other hand, I also faced some critical issues related with understanding and interpreting the subject and research context. Prior to the project, I used to possess only elementary knowledge of Management Information System and its implication in real life scenario. In
Chapter I The Problem Introduction Every school has its own policies which stat the rules and regulations that they are implementing to control and manage the behaviors, attitudes, and activities of the students inside the school. This may enable them to become a responsible and discipline one. The administrators and teachers are responsible for monitoring and supervising the student 's behavior.
