 What is the most important lesson delivered by the author?
The author has tried to explain the reality of life which includes faith as an important tool to be present in mankind’s life as he/she undergoes the different phrases of life. Besides being a solid foundation to the entire story, faith is integral to the very structure of the story. The author has emphasized faith as the uttermost internal factor that determines the success rate of survival. For example, the faith in Pi is tested when his family reckons to move to Canada for a better prospect for his family. Living in the society with humans whom are the most dangerous existence around can be difficult if you do not learn to mingle at a young age. For example, when basic necessities such as food and water become limitation to the two characters, Pi decides to build a bridge of trust between him and Richard Parker, the Bengal tiger. By having knowledge on zoology and his father’s guidance, Pi successfully befriends Richard Parker which creates a beautiful beam of nature. This shows that understanding, learning and adapting to the challenges of life allows us to break out of the rut. Nevertheless, the greatest aspect of mankind is shown that the minimum prevalence’s is enough to the change the odds.

Reinforcing opinions Ultimately, the extracted meaning from the book “Life of Pi” clearly portrayed faith as an essential part in human’s life. The meaning of faith is well defined in this book stating that faith functions as a key which unlocks hidden characteristics in one’s life when pursuing their goal.
