My parents provided me with guidance on how to live in a way that is kind, respectful, thoughtful, and how to show love to others. There are many ways they showed me this. One way was they loved each other so much and still do. They do little things for each other to show how much they care. This is important to me, this applies to more than just a marriage, it applies to all relationships. My faith is important to me, growing up, my parents took me to church every week. Sundays were family days, after church we ate lunch with my grandparents, and other close family members on my dad’s side of the family. Family is extremely important to me. My family has always been the center of my universe. They’ve taught me the importance of being united and taking care of one another—because in the end, all we truly have is each other. My parents have raised me to be a good daughter, sister, and citizen. They’ve shaped me to be respectful, responsible, and virtuous, knowing these values will last a lifetime. But above all, my parents have instilled in me an appreciation and eagerness for education.
My parents didn't have the opportunities that we have. Both my parents had to quit school at a young age, they had to find a job and help my grandparents pay for bills. My mom wanted to have an education she wanted her diploma but she wasn't able to achieve that goal. To her and my father is important for us to get an education for us to finish high school and go to college because they want all their kids to have a better life and be able to support our children in the future. From day one when I started kindergarten my parents push me to do my best and I don't plan to let them down.
From my mother, I got my sense of responsibility to family and to those around me. I have witnessed countless times when my mother reached out to people in their times of distress to help meet their material needs or just offer friendship and a listening ear. I

Parents play a major role in a child’s life. Parents affect how their child behaves and who they become as they grow older. The ideal parent should be an attentive listener, have a positive attitude and love their child unconditionally. Firstly, I think that parents should always listen to their kids no matter what or else they will feel neglected.
As a child we watch our parents and we learn from them. We learn how to cook, how to clean, how to raise children, how to do right from wrong, how to work, how to do things we don't want to, how to be happy, how to have fun, and many more things.
Trust being the most important to me should be one of the more important qualities. If trust cannot be established and or maintianted, it can lead to a very troublesome future. k Second, respect is another big aspect of a good marriage, because mutual respect makes any marriage more smooth and tolerable. Also good communication skills is needed for a long lasting marriage. Being able to convey what's on your mind is very important to any marriage.
Having formed an opinion of what goals to achieve provided direction and an ethical base to live my life by.
