Researchers compiled questions for the survey that fell into 3 different categories; nutrition, sleep and exercise. The 10th question was an open-ended question that would later be broken into categories. The results also reflect that if students were happy with their eating habits they ate fast food or junk food at minimal levels; as well as if they minimized their intake of fast/junk food, they also exercised at least 2 ½ hours per week and felt they spent enough time doing so. Another result found indicates that if daily exercise was important to them, that they would exercise at least 2 ½ hours per week, felt they spent enough time exercising, and had a regular sleep schedule. The final results show that if students exercised at least 2 ½ hours per week, they felt they spent enough time doing so as well as if they get 8 hours of sleep per night, they also believed they had a regular sleep schedule. The data supports our hypothesis of the average health and lifestyle habits of Mount Royal students because it reflects that with an average skill level between medium to high, students are more likely to correlate their habits in both thought and action. Over all, the results of this study show that sleep, nutrition, exercise, and experience/skill all play a crucial role in the overall outlook of a healthy

Prior to completing the wellness self-assessment tool, I desired to work on the physical dimension of my life. When I was younger I used to be extremely active. In the past 6-8 years however, my physical activity level has decreased significantly, to the point where it could be considered non-existent. After completing the self-assessment, it was more evident to me that this was an area I needed to improve on. I am not surprised that both the physical and play dimensions of my wellness are weighted the lowest (see below).

With this knowledge it would be easier for the govt. college to alter his values and behavior at will—without, of course, the student’s knowledge or his parents’
The arguments presented by the authors are thought-provoking and they do a first-rate job of giving the reader an unbiased perspective on The Freshman 15.
