“Um… Uncle, You keep saying ‘after what you've done’ what exactly have I done (311).” Rick Riordan is marvelous at making characters speak in ways that people can understand, but he is even better at making them sound realistic and relatable. “ ‘I want to tell him of your tal with the river spirit’. ‘We can't use phones right?’ ‘I wasn't talking about phones’ (219).” Even when discussing abstract concepts, Rick Riordan finds a way to relate it to the reader. He always seems to have a good balance of clarity and relatability. Both qualities are good and necessary to have when it comes to writing
The brilliant aspect of this story was that he got to experience mother nature in one of the most beautiful ways possible. He saw everything happen with his own eyes, and that is what made this chapter so interesting. Although I didn't read the whole book, I am certain that the entire book is just as fascinating as this chapter. I would recommend anyone to read this

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan is better than The Lost Hero. To begin, The Lightning Thief is better because of the main characters. The book’s main characters consist of Percy Jackson, Grover Underwood, and Annabeth Chase. The main characters in The Lost Hero are Jason Grace, Piper McLean, and Leo Valdez. The Lightning Thief main characters are better because I grew up reading about them and their quests.
At a distance two things may seem very different, but the more you look at the more you can see their similarities. Percy then goes to a camp to learn how to use his powers and prepare for the journey of his life of stopping a dispute between the Olympians from turning into an all-out war on Earth. In The Island of Dr. Moreau Prendrick arrives on a mysterious island to find a doctor named Moreau and his assistant Montgomery. On the island there are half-animal half-human like creatures that practice a law that focuses on them being humans not animals.

While The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, offers a limited representation of the Second World War, one that is tied to death camps and Auschwitz specifically, The Book Thief zooms out to reflect how the war took its toll on Germany. The Book Thief is a story narrated by Death, about a young girl, Liesel, an accordionist, Hans, a Jewish fist-fighter, Max, and some other Germans, during the Second World War. The novel takes place in a small fictional town in Germany, Molching, specifically on Himmel Street.
Bullies, defined as future criminals. Bullies can either be clever or gullible, but from my experiences with bullies, they were mostly gullible. When I was in Grade 4, a friend named Jacob, was once my enemy. That former enemy of mine used to fight me and insult me. One time, I was enjoying reading my book “The Lightning Thief”, and out of nowhere, Jacob just takes my book and put it inside his locker.
The writers ' fundamental objective is to delight and engage the audience, as well as to take the reader on an adventure brimming with intense plot twists. The creator accomplishes her objective. For me the book is composed clearly because of its simple yet y descriptive

Percy Jackson, the main character in The Lightning Thief ,is following the path of the hero in “Hero’s journey” On Percy’s life a teacher has become his mentor. In the Lightning Thief Percy says “But Mr.Brunner expected me to be as good as everybody else, despite the fact that I have dyslexia and attention deficit disorder and I had never made above a C- in my life” In this quote, percy expresses his feelings on how he is frustrated with himself and his teacher. In hero's journey a quote shows about mentors, “Heroes are almost started on their journey by a character who has mastered the laws of the outside world and come back to bestow this wisdom upon them.” That is how The Lightning Thief is compared to hero's journey.

Then I saw 4 huge tentacles rip out of his back. That's when I began to run. I sprinted as fast as I could but It was too late. I felt myself being slung backwards.
Jerry Spinelli uses descriptive details, dialogue, actions, and thoughts to help identify the characters in the book in many ways. Let’s start with dialogue: Most likely at the least 45% of this book is filled with dialogue, now I would show you every little detail but I won 't because that would take too long. So I’ll at least give a few or more examples: All dialogue of 1 page: “Oh, some picker bush.” “What were you doing there?”
