Peter Lalor was the leader of the Eureka Stockade in 1854. He was born on February 5th of 1827 in Queen’s County, Ireland. His name ‘Lalor’ originated from the ‘O’Lalour’s, who fought against the English invasion of Ireland in the 1500’s. His family owned and leased almost 1000 acres of land and it provided prosperity until the Great Famine in 1845. His father led the resistance of peasants against the taxes collected by the Church and represented Queen’s County in the House of Commons.

Being a freshman in college is already hard enough, but joining a club is more of a push if you do not know many people at all . Lexcie Lewis was very anti social , had fews friends, and didn’t really care too much about joining clubs, because she felt she did not have the time to do so. In high school, Lexcie was always the quiet one that no one really new. She wasn’t so quiet, she just did not socialize with many. At home, she never went out and she was of a family person, she enjoyed staying home.
I believe that the group who created the phoenix honoring Leopoldo Flores did the best job paying tribute to him and his work. According to this groups presentation Leopoldo was most well-known for creating beautiful stain glass windows all across Mexico. Many pieces of his stain glass use colors found in Mexico and many of the figures represented in his works are either animals from Mexico or creatures from Mexican folk tale. Many of his works features blues, oranges, reds, and yellows.

Introduction Locura is a culture bound syndrome that affects Latin Americans and Hispanics, regardless of where they are born, in the United States or South America (Jilek 2001:5,9). Locura has also been documented in immigrants from the Caribbean Islands (Razzouk 2011:517). In Columbia, Locura is also known as “ataques de locura” madness attacks, it is attributed to a spell known as “maleficio”.
