Policies and procedures are generated by Human Resource managers but they are implementing by the line managers. Line managers’ commitment is influence to the employee behaviour and discipline. Line manager need to ensure that their team of employees are well behaved in the organization. Whether the employee report to the work on time, whether they spend more time in their breaks, whether they behave according to the rules and regulations.

Checking the quality is the most significant function in the organizations. Technology is the fastest changing factor in these days. Organizations are also converting into modern technology therefore employees are also should have the knowledge of technology. Future generation are already updating with the technology whereas elder generation could not have much knowledge about the technology. Here recently, there was at least on Assistant Human Resource Manager in every store. There is also a Human Resource Coordinator for every district who answers to the Division Human Resource Director. Store level hr is responsible for making sure the stores are staffed, the time to hire rate is low, turnover rate is consistently low, rules and regulations are being followed, and the union contract is being adhered to. As for the Coordinator, their responsible for making sure each store is meeting their goals of time to hire and turnover, supporting and assisting stores with their hr needs such as aggrieves, and reporting out results to the Division HR Director. The corporate level associates are dealing with outdated Microsoft applications that force the associates to spend more time on a task that newer application would be able to do very quickly. This would help increase productivity and allow the corporate level associates to focus more on providing new ideas and streamlining more processes. The associates at the warehouse level use outdated speak to select headphones, which can often mishear the associates words causing them to stop and must repeat themselves until the headpiece understands what they are trying to say. The associates at the stores in retail are constantly dealing with safety hazards as well as old pieces of equipment that require more force and time to perform a task that a newer piece of equipment can make very easy. To best implement new technology first Publix needs to identify what technology can be improved and would have the greatest value to the associates or the end users.
For example if they are unaware of how to approach certain situations they should speak to their supervisor to prevent them from not meeting the standards. Organisational Policies and Procedures One of the first policies is the positive promotion of the rights of individuals; this can be achieved by the health and social care provision displaying charters around the environment, which clearly state what rights the service users are entitled too.
