CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION 1.1 Overview of Project Linear Data Acquisition System (LINDA) is an addition for the EMDEX II magnetic field measurement system[]. It has been used in numerous studies on measuring the magnetic field which human exposed to. LINDA system uses EMDEX II and a measurement wheel to record magnetic field as well as distance along the path. The EMDEX II will save the measurement values once trigged by the magnetic switch which is attached on the LINDA’s wheel as in Figure 1.1. It will be triggered for every one foot. This project is expected to come up with a design of microcontroller based GPS coordinate data logger. The GPS coordinate data logger will be triggered by a magnetic switch to determine when to save the coordinate. The method is just the same as the LINDA system. This project will improve LINDA system where it will be able to save GPS coordinate for mapping purpose. Figure 1.1 : LINDA Measurement Wheel 1.2 Problem statement Short-term exposure to magnetic fields may be dangerous to health. There has been many studies on measuring the magnetic fields using LINDA wheel with EMDEX II to determine whether it is safe for human exposure[5, 9, 14]. However, these studies did not include mapping the high magnetic fields area. There is a need in mapping the dangerous area since it may risk health. …show more content…
Each sentence has about 80 characters and the data are separated by commas. the sentence ends with an asterisk (*) and followed by two hexadecimal checksum numbers. There are most common NMEA sentences which include GGA, RMC and GSA where GGA provides the current fix data, RMC provides the minimum GPS sentences information such as date and time, speed, course and the bearing while GSA provides the satellites status data. Figure 2.2 shows example of NMEA
SOF – The single dominant start of frame bit marks the start of a message, and is used to synchronize the nodes on a bus after being idle. Identifier-The Standard CAN 11-bit identifier establishes the priority of the message. Lower the value of identifier, its priority will be higher. RTR – The single remote transmission request (RTR) bit is used by the sender to inform receivers of the frame type.
At first, the magnetic field sensor was plugged into analog A. Next; a magnetic field sensor was open in the Database Studio software by following several instructions. Once the magnetic fields sensor was free, we clicked on the “digits” that was on the lower left side of the screen. Then, the window appeared where it was ready to record the magnetic field. After the computer part was completely set up, we measured the diameter of the Helmholtz coil several times to get the more accurate measurement and recorded the measurement in the data. Later, we set up our device in a way that current flows in the same direction for all the coil.
Therefore, the purpose of the lab, which was established as, to see the role that static electricity has on objects, when determining their charge and how they interact, is fulfilled in a wall mannered fashion. This process extends to other objects and real world applications, such as the controlling of electrical cable manufacturing and application in areas such as a television depot station, where static electricity must be managed and accounted for to avoid disruptions. As well as in micro surgery where small mechanical devices and robots must be carefully monitored in electron level in order to preserve machine functionality and efficiency. Therefore, the purpose of the lab is met and the hypotheses was supported, proving the quality and efficiency of the lab being
Introduction to Physics Lab (ZBT1) Electromagnetic Induction Marc Westover C164 ZBT1 Task 2 Professor Taha Mzoughi 03/14/2017 Introduction This experiment describes a physics lab on electromagnetic induction. It will test if coils of looped wire produce an electric current and if the number of coils makes a difference in a reading.
1. Goal The objective of this lab was to create a Windows 2012 Datacenter Virtual Machine. On this virtual device, we were tasked with installing DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory services. This was very similar to lab 2 in that all of the core services had to be installed on this one device as with our RHEL7 server previously.
There are several things that I appreciate from this class: \begin{enumerate} \item[1] \[ u_t=Ku_{xx}+Q\] To solve the above equation most of the time (For the sake of simplicity) we set $K=1$. This is how I solved similar type of equations in my undergraduate study. But you explained the importance of K. You said, for a small rod, K is not that important as in airplane (K is a material property). I will never forget this. I'm really interested studying PDE and to see the world through mathematics and then work for a new invention.\\ \item[2] You have introduced short and sweet ways of simplifying.

\figref{fig:opepos}) and then gathered acceleration data of the smarphone and smartwatch. Firstly, we asked the participant to wear a smartwatch on his left wrist. After wearing the watch, we also asked the participant to perform contexts that were showed the smartphone's display in a randomized order for approximately ten seconds or until we give the participant a sign. These contexts are described by using document with the instructions. When the participants perform a'\,--\,j', we asked the participant to perform while walking between signs: the diameter between the signs is 10\,meters (approxiametely 10.94\,yd).

5.1.1. Standard Process First part Coming from the field the data was downloaded from the two GPS bases into the GPS controllers. Connect the GPS controllers to the computer and open the Trimble Business Center to import data from GPS receivers. Second Part Set the coordinate system in the software as to match the coordinate system which was used on the field.

For this task I am going to discuss theories of communication which will be formatted in a booklet. I will also explain Argyle’s communication cycle and Tuckman’s group interaction. Argyles communication cycle When communicating with one another people must come to terms by trying to have an understanding of what the other person is trying to say. Communication is a circular process in which each person must have an understanding of one another’s viewpoint, they must also make sure that they are being understood.
Technology nowadays is only getting smarter and better as the years go by; driverless cars are a big success for people that have been trying to make this happen for years. Even though driverless cars exist now and have been being tested on, many companies have not worked out all the bugs on them so driverless cars are yet to be released until companies can ensure the safety of the owners of the car and the other drivers on the road. Driverless cars could possibly lessen traffic and also lessen deaths and car accidents that happen around the world. Self driving cars were always a talk of the future and the future is now. What are driverless cars?
These old electronics can spill toxins such as lead, mercury and lithium into the environment. According to the center for Disease Control and Prevention can cause disorders and joint pain in adults, as well as, brain damage and anemia in children. Moreover, the mining of Neodymium,
