‘I was really educating myself on the environment, but I didn't realize it was so connected to politics, connected to globalization.’ (Townsend, 2017). What is politics and what is globalization? Generally, when the word politics is heard immediately, it brings to mind some expressions, or words, as war, colonization, government work, elections, or politicians, but actually, it has another simpler meaning. It is the procedure and philosophy of how a group of individuals set up and organize themselves and how the domination and the authority of their social lives are attained. The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown expresses the role English plays world widely in a positive way. He associates the English knowledge with the capability to communicate in a successful way the English language had a huge influence on the people since it started to spread widely. Many people in the forgone countries they do put an English word or sometimes a sentence in their talk to show their knowledge and degree. Indeed, some of them may even brag when they speak by using a few of English sentence that they did learn. However, English influence did not even stop at that. Because of, the language has become an International language, it helps people to communicate easily; because it’s a language that everyone know how talk of it. And it did help a lot in the global communication. Nonetheless, there's also the ideological structure of the English language in the world either socially, culturally or so, but when it comes to the definition of ideology, it is known as structures of ideas and thoughts, practically the one's which forms the basis of political theory and economics. (Dictionaries, 2017).
