Lisa Messinger (50) is a philanthropist and past President of the Westchester Reform Temple, where she was also served as a board and executive committee member.

During her tenure as Westchester Reform’s president, she co-led a $20 million capital campaign, created programs for different age groups and developed new fundraising strategies, which significantly broadened its donor base.

Lisa has also served on the boards of several other non-profits including the Foundation for Summer Camps and URJ Eisner & Crane Lake Camps, where she was also its chair. She was an Events Chairman of the UJA Federation of New York, and has volunteered at Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) and Scarsdale

He was ordained by HUC-JIR in 1991, and like Lisa he is a former Wexner Fellow. Aaron is also a licensed pilot and ASA (American Sailing Association) certified sailor. Aaron and Lisa live in Mamaroneck and have two children-Samantha and Eli.

Lisa and Aaron are sporadic AJWS donors, who’ve made seven gifts since 2005, the largest of which was $1,000, for the 30th Anniversary Gala. The rest of their gifts have been in the $100-$500 range.

Larkspur Data estimates their net worth is $5,000,000-$9,999,999, based on wealth indicators, including accredited investors, estate planning investors and yacht owners. Their largest known non-profit gifts are $10,000- $24,999 annual gifts to the Foundation for Jewish Camps and the New Israel Fund, and several $1,000-$9,999 gifts to the Jewish Funders Network, Birthright Israel, Facing History and Ourselves and Northwestern University.

Lisa is also a director of the Messinger Family Foundation, (its other directors are her sister Sarah and her father).
