Let me just say that reading this novel during Show Week for a community theatre company is not a good idea. I did not have one ounce of sleep and I am not sure if the actors became just that bit more terrified of me but what do you know? Theatre, am I right?

Lisa Williamson's debut novel, The Art of Being Normal, has been rhapsodized for a while now. The novel is not so much astonishing in its writing, but the plotline certainly does not disappoint. The story guides one through the life of the T in LGBT, where it educates and entertains all at once.
